If it came from a known “equal opportunity” troll then it would be more obvious trolling. Equal opportunity trolls are the ones that like to take controversial stands no matter what the stance is as long as it riles people up and has enough plausible deniability to let them stick around for a few days. Fortunately, they are less difficult to moderate since they also get off on switching sides during the middle of an argument and vigorously attacking the people who are agreeing with them.
But yeah, from someone who is less of a known quantity, it’s harder to tell. The basic facts do have a ring of truth to them.
I might if this poster wasn’t a frequent flyer in this thread. I meant my post as a “last straw” sort of thing. They’ve been here long enough to know exactly how provocative they were being.
The thread itself isn’t my issue. It’s the title. That they bait and switch the reader with the actual post contents is not a positive thing, in my book.
And I would say they do come off as the “equal opportunity troll” type, @Ludovic. They’re the same poster who did the “Blame the WOMAN MOM” thread. They’ve had threads closed saying for saying things like "ugly 3rd world alien.” They casually call different groups derogatory names. And this is the third thread of theirs which was closed.
It’s not clear to me if they’ve been Warned, If not, that might be a good idea, IMHO.
