So… how’s about that Judicial Activism thread in GD? I am totally convinced that OldOakTree is not a troll. 
What’s funny is I’ve been waiting all day for it to start… all day pushing the “Long-time lurker, just finally joined, blah blah blah” angle.
And in that thread, opened right up with the “delusional liberals” gambit.
And UV is being very… reasonable.
Also, I don’t know why OOT suddenly is not using punctuation, wasn’t having problems with that in the hotbutton “Fix the SD” threads before. Seems to be trying to get somebody to snap so he can whine about what a hive-minded echo chamber this place is.
I was checking in to mention oldoaktree as well, but based more on the “A Revised American Constitution” thread, where they’re seeming to try and bait Babale with the classic “ignore the answer, repeat the question” trick.

Is it wrong to be simultaneously happy and sad that there’s no activity in this thread for a week? Because, I totally am. It’s good to see less trollish behavior, but I do miss the witty snark causing suspected trolls to self-destruct.
Some of the “best” remaining ones have their own threads, which drains away much of the demand for this one. Seems a shame.
I like it this way. The discussions on specific trolls always go on for waaaaay too long, and then I keep looking in on this thread only to see that all the new posts are still about trollymctrollface, or worse, by trollymctrollface.
If trollymctrollface has their own thread I can just stop checking in on it when it rolls past my limit of giving a fuck.
(Apologies to anyone checking in and finding this post disappointing. Especially if they search the board for trollymctrollface and are upset they’re not an actual new troll.)

Soooo is KennyT had an OP about 5 minutes ago that was . . . . hopelessly tasteless and was dead in 3 posts (OP, one saying ‘this is tasteless and closed soon’ and Puzzlegal saying yup and closing it). I’ve seen him brought up several times in the thread. Is there a consensus?
The title is too . . . horrible to say unblurred IMHO even in the Pit so What’s the Quickest Way to Get a Black Man Killed?
That’s just such obvious trolling that I suggest this be the end of their posting career.
It was crass and provocative, but you could play Devil’s Advocate and argue that, actually, the OP was vigorously anti-racist. Makes it a tough one to moderate - not even a warning (or even a mod note) in this case.
But yeah, definite watch list material.
