I am not “defending” him. I am stating, when I think appropriate, that some charges made against him are unfounded. That is all. There is a big fucking difference. I mean, don’t you agree?

I know exactly where that post came from. I had just read it. But if you can convince me that Euph WASN’T referring to me as someone who thinks Trump is the embodiment of perfection, I’ll retract. He doesn’t seem to want to reply about it.
I have to admit I haven’t been following the minutiae, but the way you quoted just that made it seem that @Euphonious_Polemic believed it.
Being 100% honest, at this point, no I do not. When I do, all I ever get is grief for my good intentions. I try to have discussions about politics that are interesting to me. Lots of people, and sometimes even myself, like to talk about Trump’s enormous failings. But in general, participating in those discussions from that viewpoint bores me. So when I see someone make a claim about Trump that I don’t agree with, I’ll respond to it.
If I understand you, you are saying that I didn’t quote enough, and gave the wrong impression about what he said? I don’t think so, but if so, I would retract it. He doesn’t seem to want to make it clear he wasn’t talking about me, though, so I’m sticking with my original post. I mean, come on. Who responds with “Fuck Off” if they have something relevant to say?
