Men don’t (didn’t) want to control women out of fear, but to benefit themselves. To get lots of sex, and children to be heirs and to work on the farm.
And you missed one:

Maybe the problem is that you are looking at this through a lens of identity politics. Group A is more privileged than group B, and thus a member of group A has no reason to fear a member of group B. But there are different kinds of power. The man who mugs you (and it’s overwhelmingly likely to be a man) is almost certainly less privileged than you by any measure. But this will not help you when he demands your wallet.
What is unjustified is your reaction to your fear of transwomen. And they have far more to fear from you. Because these nasty little narratives you spread, your repeated demonization and dehumanization of trans people, only propagate the already-widespread belief that it’s perfectly fine to harass, attack and kill them.
I mean, it’s hardly a “bullshit story” that trans women live in real fear of being murdered by men they’re dating when the man finds out the truth about them, and that those men cite their own fear in their defense - sometimes successfully. It’s hardly bullshit that they get harassed - and raped and murdered - by strangers just for being who they are, in great disproportion to any threat they pose to others. It’s not bullshit that police and politicians and churches and all sorts of nasty, petty frightened people spread the same kinds of stories you do in order to justify their persecution. But that’s all okay. Because transwomen aren’t real women, right? Because it’s acceptable to treat them all as a threat as long as one can claim to have been afraid.
It’s funny - the last time I encountered this sort of argument, it was about why the US shouldn’t take on any Syrian refugees. “We should be afraid of them”, we were told. “Look at what other Muslims from that region are doing - we can’t let any of them if because they’ll attack us!”, we were told. And thus the case for treating thousands of persecuted men, women and children in the direst straits was made. But it was bullshit then, and it’s bullshit now.
But you keep pretending that what you’re doing is justified and your hands are clean. After all, it’s not like you’re likely to ever know the trans women who suffer (and sometimes die) due to the narratives you push.
So off, you lot! This is a thread about shitty posters, not a thread to repeat the shitty fights you are having with them. Make your own threads! Preferably one each. (More threads, yes, but they will die faster.)
So your argument is not that I’m wrong, but that bad people might take what I say the wrong way? Of course it’s not okay to harass, attack or kill anyone. How can saying the exact same things I said about men be demonisation and dehumanisation? Am I dehumanising and demonising men, too? And why can’t we care about the safety of both trans women and cis women (hey, and men too)? Why insist we pick one over the other?

He was replying to damuriajashi; in any case, yes, it was for different reasons the posters refused to continue to reply to him, I don’t think you get what a hive mind is supposed to be.
Groupthink , mode of thinking in which individual members of small cohesive groups tend to accept a viewpoint or conclusion that represents a perceived group consensus, whether or not the group members believe it to be valid, correct, or optimal. Groupthink reduces the efficiency of collectiveproblem solving within such groups.
I have said it before: one should not rely on just opinions from a poster on an anonymous message board. Cites are needed too. What I see as notorious on this board is that cites are usually requested, not just opinions. Now then, Recent Trolls show a predilection of ignoring what even scientific cites say.
One can look at the accusations coming from many mask use deniers. If one wears a mask in public one can be told by them that one is a subject of the hivemind. But if one declines to wear a mask in public one can in turn say to be a participant in the counter-hivemind.
Looks to me like declaring an action as part of group think is not helpful, the best way forward is to check with better sources or expert advise about what is the best choice.
