Stephen Miller has it (a reputable source):
So large viruses can indeed become infected by smaller viruses. Good to know.
JOHNT MORGYN
Bringing the people the news they want to hear.
(Damned auto formatting killed the joke.)
Don’t forget, he has a hospital room and medical staff at the white house
Indeed. Now, can you bring me the news that Bill Barr has it?
And Mitch McConnell if we are making a list.
LOL, I swear I was just coming back to edit my post to make this addition!
I was right there until he started talking about how he has made the sacrifice of getting himself infected so he could show everyone it was no big deal.
Just die motherfucker.
To all those who were yelling “Trump is going to kill off the Republican Party!”- I apologize for both doubting you, and for thinking you were speaking figuratively.
And about the whole “We’re going back to work” thing, I was talking about this with friends over the weekend. I said he’ll eventually be cured, say since he survived, it’s all good. Open up the whole country!
So if anything, him getting over it (or not ever having it in the first place) just gives fire to the “hoax” base.
Very preliminary, but this poll shows Trump’s support plummeting after the COVID diagnosis.
This is what was really noticeable to me; he almost never misses an opportunity to spout off. He really did not look well.
His stunt today to scuttle talks on stimulus is, to me, his clearest “fuck you” to democracy and voters yet. He is essentially saying he doesn’t give a shit what the results say; he’s going to do all he can to disrupt and discredit the result. If he can’t disrupt voting badly enough to steal the election and the electors choose someone else, he will tell his rabid supporters that their votes were stolen and encourage them to riot.
We need to be prepared for the next 3-4 months. Everyone needs to be prepared. Politically, it’s probably going to be the most turbulent period since Reconstruction.
An osteopath for a sociopath.
Possibly. It’s also been argued that McConnell conned Trump into taking the fall for a bill which McC knew he couldn’t get passed the Senate as McC didn’t even have full GOP support for the Republican bill, much less any Democratic variation.
This has been my belief, as Josh Marshall lays it out, for quite some time. McConnell pulled the plug on a final stimulus before the election quite some time ago.
What really bugged me about that statement was when he said “I have instructed my representatives…”.
Now correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t those aren’t HIS representatives, they’re ours. They’re supposed to be representing US. I’m assuming (very possibly incorrectly) that by "my representatives’, he’s not talking about people that liaison between him and congress, but rather Mitch, Lindsey and the other GOP senate members.
Dude, we’re way past the point of being bugged or outraged; he has been telegraphing since day one - and before - he does not give a fuck about the constitutional, legal, or political norms.
If this were a football game, authoritarianism would have the ball. First and goal to go.
If this were a football game, he’d be reffing it and before the coin toss he’d announce that the other team forfeited and the team he has money on wins.
I listen to it often. I like the original cast recording, too, because the lyrics are also awesome!
