There was a while when the powers in charge of the distribution of Downfall demanded that all such parodies be taken down as copyright violations, which seemed to me to be one of the stupidest business decision ever made. The parodies gave the actual movie more exposure than any traditional ad campaign could dream of.
I watched the film because of the parody videos, for what it’s worth.

I spoilered it because it’s deeply disturbing, even for a monster like Goebbels, not because it’s a surprise. (However, I was not aware of that particular horror before watching the movie.)
I would say it’s more like spoiling that Isidore Strauss and his wife died on the Titanic.
I still think spoilering it was appropriate, though. I might know the Titanic sank, but I might appreciate learning the details as I’m immersed in the story. But, lol, no big deal either way.

With all of the turmoil in the Trump administration, and the campaign manger testing positive, along with the Spokesbeing, and the reptilian Miller… Isn’t this going to have a very serious impact on their ability to run a campaign? I mean, they’ve lost a lot of top people in a short time - I imagine the campaign is a total shit-show now.
And what about the folks in regional offices running local campaigns? Are they just going wait for the Republican Covid wave to wash over them and make them sick in the next few weeks? If I were them, I’d be quietly staying home and making excuses for why I could not show up to the campaign office.
There’s been some speculation that people are just raiding the coffers. If that’s true then… it’s almost game over. He can’t debate, he can’t do rallies, they were pulling ads from swing states anyway because his numbers were tanking.
How could you tell?
Trying to replenish their spent coffers is pretty hopeless – who’s going to give money to a party led by a demented drugged-up roid-raging idiot who might not even live to see Election Day? (Well, yes, the common Trumpoltroons will, but their small-donor base just isn’t enough, especially with so much of the money being wasted through graft and corruption.)
