To this point, although I hate LLMs, I decided to do a quick experiment and asked ChatGPT to replicate a Trump tweet complaining about the Kennedy Center, and got this;
It’s got the emdashes, but it also has too many of the other artifacts of AI-generated writing, like lists of three and the general LLM “tone of voice” that distinctly isn’t Trump’s. On the other hand, it did give me a “sir” story and plenty of gratuitously capitalized Nouns as if this were the 18th Century and that was how Gentlemen still wrote the English Language. It’s also definitely more “2017 Trump” than it is “2026 Trump” in style, and it didn’t thank me for my attention to this matter.
Maybe with enough tweaking the prompt, it could mimic Trump’s style well enough to not be noticeable.

It also broke the post into 3 sensible, organized paragraphs. To be more like trump 2026, it needs to be one big wall o’ text. That’s easy enough to fix though, and otherwise, yeah, it’s not too bad an imitation.
And it’s way too coherent to reflect the current state of mind of our Extremely Intelligent leader, who can get 30 of 30 cognition test questions right, at least when given plenty of hints.*

Yeah, on second read through it’s not only too coherent, but the griping is too mild and the general tone is not nearly unhinged enough. It’s more “conservative dad just got done watching a couple hours of Fox News” energy than it is “grandpa needs his meds doubled and be locked into a padded room for his own good”.
When Trump finally croaks, expect an announcement that his health has set an all-time standard for excellence among dead people, and that his cognitive exam scores remain perfect.
I definitely believe that he will be just as smart dead as he is alive.

I read a reprint of someone’s twitter post saying “if you’ve been given 4 cognitive tests in a span of 18 months, they’re no longer just testing to see if you have dementia, it’s been diagnosed, and now they’re tracking how bad the progression is”.
