It’s that genetic longevity (plus his mother, who lived to 88) that maybe has allowed him to live this long. Long-lived parents is no guarantee of anything. If nothing else, there are falling pianos around that might take him out – he’s made himself such a cartoon, it would only be fitting.

If you recall, Abbey Bartlet was furious with Jed after Zoey’s kidnapping because she believed the abduction was direct retaliation for Jed’s secret order to assassinate a foreign official.
The loss of his youngest child may not elicit a normal human reaction in DJ Trump. I’m not sure. But he’s rumored to be terrified of Melania.
She knows a lot.
And he knows that there’s no emotional connection that would keep her from spilling it, were she to be so motivated.
If she starts down that road she needs to avoid standing near open windows.
