In reference to Kasuo’s post:
The last time I saw ANDY RICHTER was no more than a couple of weeks ago. It’s been on at 9:30, after MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE. So as far as I’m aware, it’s not gone. Yet. I don’t trust Fox to keep good shows on the air unless they’re THE SIMPSONS.
MacGuyver
Family Guy
Sliders
Picket Fences. One of the most intelligent, thought-provoking shows on TV ever. Far better than David E. Kelley’s other efforts.
My wife and I literally would schedule around this show because we never wanted to miss it. It only lasted four seasons and had to be resurrected a time or two by dedicated fans’ petitions.
Flying Blind. Anyone remember this one? It lasted for two seasons in the early 1990’s. Starred Tea Leoni as an extroverted artist type. The main couple reminded my wife and I so much of ourselves.
Wholly poop! I almost forgot about that show!
I would like to add Ren And Stimpy
That 80’s Show
Once and Again (which is out on DVD, now)
Titus
Sportsnight (out on DVD)
Family Guy (DVD in April, my g/f pre-ordered it for me…I hope)
Firefly
Futurama
The Tick (Haven’t seen it anywhere, but heard it’s in DVD)
Adventures of Brisco County, Jr.

Picket Fences
Does anybody remember the show SLEDGEHAMMER!? It was about a triggerhappy cop who talked to his gun. (it even spoke back once) That show was friggin’ hillarious.
There are a lot of shows that I liked right up to the end. Some of them, like The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr., Taxi, Police Squad and the animated version of The Tick went out at just the right time. But there are some that had a lot of life left in them:
Sports Night
Cupid
and just on the very fringe of my memory,
Johnny Bago
I sort of wish “Cop Rock” had taken off and become an immensely popular franchise. Not because it looks particularly good, but because I believe our world would be a vastly different place if it had. The butterfly effect, and all that.
I forgot about Cupid. That was fairly enjoyable.
Around the same time Jack & Jill came out, there was another twenty-something show that lasted about 4 episodes, but I can’t for the life of me recall what it was called. It was good, though.
Invader Zim.
And I don’t think Nickelodeon aired all the episodes they had promised to show before the Christmas special/finale. Bastards.
Another vote for Mystery Science Theater 3000. Also Nero Wolfe (the A&E one with Timothy Hutton, not the old 70s show).
See my post above. You may be thinking of the one I mentioned, Cold Feet. ??
