Tyrant; season 3 (open spoilers)

As interim President, Barry Al-Fayeed seeks a new Abuddin with a government run by the people.

Season 3 premiers tonight at 10pm on FX.

So Emma’s finally important to the plot. This may just be the think to push Barry into living up to the family name. Also Jamal’s doing better than I expected; I was surprised to here him speaking.

So anybody else watching? I know Bassam would slid into dictator mode, but wasn’t expecting Molly to be egging him on while Leila is the source of reason (grant I still think a lot of what she says is an act, but she’s a very good actress). One way or another Bassam is going to be end up president for life. Next week is the season finale.

I gave up at the end of S1. Spoiler everything since for me, please?

Well I miscounted and next week is the finale. :smack: Which is good because tonight’s episode wasn’t satisfying as a season/series finale. Molly’s sure became a icy bitch though. And Cogswell just ended his career.

I think that works as a series finale. Barry is not trapped in a Hell largely of his own creation. I was waiting for someone to remind him that he only serves at the pleasure of the military; especially after Molly tried to remind Maloof of who works for how. And as flimsy as her claim to the presidency is, Leila’s inauguration was fun. I’m pretty sure that was the first reference to Abuddin even having a constitution. They never mentioned any kind of legislature, even during the elections (dictatorships usually have a rubber stamp one for appearances sake).

It’s too late to edit; that should read “Barry is now trapped in a Hell…” :smack:
