Sarah Silverman is another one of mine.
I wonder if anyone ever turns out to be “a celebrity” in the first place, without being crush-worthy to at least a large minority. I’m not a celebrity, and as far as I can tell exactly two people ever have had a crush on me, and I suspect that those two facts are not unrelated.
I can’t imagine women having a crush on Steve Buscemi but maybe a few are into him.
For the past month I’ve been making a series of desktop wallpapers for my PC, using high-res images of celebrities I like, and then filling them in to fill the aspect ratio. Most of them have not been “uncommon” or even obscure, though. I try to avoid the glamour shots, as I like the casual minimum-make-up look, but those are hard to locate at the right scale.
ANyway, that’s just a round-about way to say some of the lesser known names, if not less attractive women: Alison Haislip; Beth Riesgraf; Brea Grant; Caity Lotz; Elizabeth Henstridge; Emily VanCamp; Kristen Wiig; Ksenia Solo; Michala Banas; Molly Quinn; Natalie Morales; Veronica Belmont.
Back in the early 90s, I thought Pepa from Salt N’ Pepa was really hot.
Back in the 1980s, Patricia McPherson played Bonnie Bairstow on Knight Rider. I thought she was the loveliest, smartest woman in the world.
Good ones.
Yeah I like both and they played sisters in Jurassic World.
I’ll add Rebel Wilson. I think she qualifies as “uncommon celebrity crush” I’ve always liked her.
Rachael Ray, Sally Field (even now), Bjork, Amy Schumer (I don’t find her funny but I do find her attractive), Sarah Silverman (do find her funny and do find her attractive)…
I thought she was gorgeous in the Black Mirror episode “Nosedive”, also phenomenal at the acting performance.
If we can triple-date, I’ll take Noel Wells.

Shyly raises hand.
He used to be a New York fireman, and after 911 he worked in his old firehouse to help.
He has been married since 88 without a sniff of scandal. His eyes are actually lovely if you look closely.
And he’s funny.
Sneaks back to lurkerhood.
Betty Thomas, back in the day. As Lucy Bates on Hill Street Blues, she could have cuffed me ANY time!
Paul Lynde. It started when I was a young girl and he was on a game show which predated Hollywood Squares. I can’t even remember the name of the show.
I love a guy who makes me laugh.
That’s true, although there are so, so many celebrities, and new ones arriving every day, that no one can possibly crush on all of them. Yes, they’re all pretty/handsome, but even among such vast throngs of very good-looking people, it seems we all have just a handful that make us go weak in the knees. It’s a different handful for everyone.
And it’s not always the handful that we’re told it should be. That’s the part I find interesting. Certain celebrities, your Brad Pitts, your Julia Robertseses, are held up as the cream of the cream of the crop. But I don’t know that anyone crushes on them more than anyone else in this thread.
I like the way you keep them alphabetized for easy reference.
Mikhail Gorbachev had strikingly attractive eyes. Warm and expressive.
I have a hopeless crush on the new likeness of Cheddar Man, too. My Og, that cheeky smirk.
Kathy Valentine (bassist for The Go-Gos). When I saw their Central Park concert, I knew that she had dressed just for me.
I have a little crush on Sarah Millican.
Me too, but she had already stolen my heart inThe Winslow Boy.
Have you seen Trees Lounge? He plays a very unlikeable character in that one, a total screw-up, but I can’t take my eyes off him. I have to rewatch it every few years.
