I’ve been here(with Flinx) for almost 2 weeks now.
In case anyone wants an update: Of the 3 objections people had raised; 1.we are spending lots of time together and going out a lot even. Amazing.
About the other 2(religion and sex0, lets just say we’re both converting(sorry Adam).

I’m just a little jealous that I didn’t think of it myself.
My update: I am closing on my house today finally. They had promised to do some repairs & paint the house before closing. Well, my realtor & I went to do the walkthru a week ago, the day before closing, and they were just starting the painting. :mad: So we put off closing until they finished painting. They were just finishing up Tuesday when we did the second walk-thru. I’m getting nervous again.

Believe me, purplebear, I’m definitely a crabapple. You guys just haven’t been on the receiving end of it (yet) - LOL. Thank goodness my boss is being very understanding, supportive and patient (which are not qualities he usually possesses!).

Thanks to Rose, I’ve found my true nature (hetero), and I’m not going back. I am so turned on by her! And I’m not just saying that–I really am. Plus, she’s very intelligent, patient, witty, friendly, and any other great quality you want to ascribe to her. She’s going home tomorrow, though, darn it, and won’t be back for 3 months. Aaaww man! I can’t believe no one paged me about this!( :: smacking Falcon :: ) Thank’s Shayna! The plant battle continues. Some people suggested I toss the plants and start over. I was loathe to do that and have been nursing them ever since. Out of six plants, one has most severely died, one is in critical condition(but seems to be coming back), one is VERY dried out, one needs some love and the other two are doing great. I never did try the eggshells, but got some miracle grow and have been very stingy with the water (it is oh so hard!), but, I am finally getting the hang of it. It feels good to be “doing right by them” now. ::
Also, an update on the nasty smoke smell from smoking in the house: I tried the vinegar-towel thing and the bowls of vinegar to get rid of the smell. This helped. I also used candles, potpurri simmering pots, that carpet powder with baking soda and scent and sprays. These all seemed to help, but the smell was still there, if not as strong as before. Then I found Glade Oil Scents Plug-Ins. These are awesome! I have them in almost every room of the house now. Everything smells sooo good, and you can’t even smell the smoke.(Even though I am going to quit soon…I Promise! ;))
