Oddly enough, during the last decent snowfall, I DID clear the driveway of 6 of my neighbors, one of whom is a violent Trumpist. The plow driver saw me, so he came back and plowed ice chunks into the aprons again. Thankfully my trusty snowblower ( “Lulubelle” ) was more than up to the task and I had three cleared as I was heading towards his again as the fourth. He had taken the effort to walk outside, lean on a shovel, and stare me down as I approached.
“Hi, I cleared that before, but the plow came back. How about I clear it again?”

Personally, I’m made uncomfortable with the connotations of the term “re-education.” That said, it is essential that the people who rioted yesterday STOP BELIEVING the things they believe that led them to see their behavior as helpful of acceptable. Given that indisputable fact, can you suggest some rational means of causing that to come about?
As long as there are “information” sources such as Fox “News,” NewsMax, OANN, etc. that tell them what to believe and what not to believe, it will not be possible to change their viewpoint.
