While you and I agree about the necessity for trials and fair and equitable punishment for law breakers, you seem to continue to ignore the differences between how protests by BLM are treated by the police, and how “protests” by entitled white people are treated by the police. And not just by the police, but by the media too. Just take a look at how Fox News is playing this as being the fault of the Capital police or how much they push the “few bad eggs” that they so easily rejected when it was applied to the BLM protests.
It’s one thing to recognize that criminal should be prosecuted; it’s another to recognize how the system itself and the people within it treat “protestors” differently based on the color of their skin. Would you, at the least, acknowledge that much?
Well, we wouldn’t want to do that. Let’s keep this all in perspective, this was just a storming of the Capitol. Nothing to get riled up about.

My political foes are people who are stupid or brainwashed enough to think that lowering taxes increases government revenue.
People who literally try to overturn an election by force aren’t my political foes. They aren’t engaging in politics.
