Okay I wasn’t really liking tonight’s episode until we found out about Parker and his virus work. Really nice callback to the original series; especially with the Visitors going after the scientists involved. Hobbes took me by surprise. If he’s really planning on selling out the 5th Column to the Visitors he’s a total moron. I highly doubt they’d keep their word once they got the research. Next week looks big; what with being the season finale; let’s hope it’s not the series finale.
Another entertaining episode, as long as I don’t think too hard about details. Like how the writers have sorta painted themselves into a corner. Anna’s already played the “we’re leaving” card, so what’s she going to do when the 5C has another successful attack?
Then again, she may be about to take the gloves off once and for all. Her army is about to hatch, and apparently that huge fleet from wherever is very close.
On the downside, if they go with a cliffhanger in the finale, we may never know the result. Haven’t heard anything about this show getting renewed…
I really liked it and wondered if the abuse of Lisa at the hands of Anna would push Tyler into becoming a main leader of the 5th Column later on.
I love Joshua. And I wonder if Mr. Assistant to Anna is Fifth Column sometimes, like maybe he is gathering the formula to take them out himself? I do hope it doesn’t get canceled before it concludes. That would suck - maybe at least they’ll do a finishing movie if that happens.
So now we wonder if Lisa will go out in a blaze of glory killing off the soldier eggs as they hatch?
Yeah, I was hoping we’d get to see her go all Ripley on those eggs!
This show has improved a lot these last few episodes. A few weeks ago I wouldn’t have cared at all if I heard that it was cancelled. Now I do hope it is renewed, but there are other “bubble” shows that I enjoy that I would easily pick over V for renewal.
I think V could be much better (like many, many serialized shows) if it there was a definite end date to move the story toward. Then we could have less filler and faster progression of the storylines, instead of dragging them out for as long as possible until any resolution becomes unsatisfactory. Two 13-episode seasons would probably be plenty of time to tell this story.
Things seem to be getting pretty juicy now. I loved that they brought in a “red dust” type threat to the Vs. I hope this show gets picked up next season. Lisa’s on the verge of joining the 5th column.
