It’s a below freezing 28 degrees outside, the sun is just starting to come up.
I woke up too early, damn bladder.
The park is open from sunup to sundown, and so we are waiting to leave.
The dogs are whining, anxious to go.
Even though it’s cold outside, I’m looking forward to getting there early.
Not a whole lot on the agenda today.
My days are mostly the same, go to the park, come home, eat breakfast, log in to irk, log out, eat lunch, take a shower, do some irk around the house, eat dinner, log back into irk, log out, go to bed.
I have to drive my son to school. If I get a good parking space I’ll sit and wait for him. If not, I’ll come back home for an hour and go back to get him.
Adam goes to the vet on Wednesday. Joy and Happiness there!
For both of us.
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 54 Amurrkin out and cloudy with a predicted high of 71 and rain at some point today, then tonight, and maybe tomorrow. TWPTB are kinda willy-nilly about this. No big items on the agenda today. We might or might not go out for N.O.L. Sup shall be my world famous Eyetalian chikin with side matter TBD. I’m all for a lazy day today because the next two days shan’t be lazy. Tomorrow is Shrove Tuesday AKA Mardi Gras and I will be busy with prep stuff and servin’ at our annual Pancake Supper (pancakes, snausages, and King cake). Hump Day is also Ash Wednesday and I will be involved with Ashes To Go from seven a.m. - nine a.m. as well as the other usual Ash Wednesday stuff.
Butters hope you survive the day!
Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy demands sustenance. Then, onward into the day. Rah.
I also woke stupid early, but I downloaded a new game to my tablet and that helped pass the time. I’m now showered, dressed, fed, working on caffeination, and thinking about what lies ahead today. Definitely a trip to Food Lion as we’re nearly out of bananas! That’s as far as I’ve gotten.
**spidey **- I love your MMP title! Very subtle!
And so begins the last week of Feb, 2020. Happy Moanday!!
Up, breakfasting, caffeinating and will purtify to take a friend to the eye doctor in a bit. Oh, the joy of Nashville traffic. Hopefully, we’ll catch it between the rushes.
Someone ratted on me. Told my daughter, Rosalee, about my thumb. I only share with her the good news. Not the bad. She worries and lives far away in the state of WA. I have told her I want to die here in Mexico. Which has been my life for 15 years. I love it here.
So, she made me promise to see the doctor this morning. So, I will go. Without an appointment. I could be there a long time.
And Sunnie, Kiko has raised two feral kittens from the age of two weeks. Bathes them, protects them, and sleeps with them. So, it does happen.
I wish you had beat me to it Spidey.
I hate starting the MMPs, but how long am I supposed to wait?
Anyway, home from the park.
We were the only ones there for quite a while.
I have to call the electric company today. I’ve been trying to pay my bill online and I keep getting the message that my account doesn’t exist. It does exist, because it comes up, but then when I click on it, it disappears and says it doesn’t exist.
Well, it’s 44F now in N. Ali-bama, but no sun to be seen, it’s all rain and looks to stay that way the whole day. Only 6 boxes of books left, so i hope to finish that job today, need to donate some books and wonder if anyone needs a bunch of old 3-ring binders…looks like Goodwill can take them, they’re near the cardboard recycling spot so I’ll add that for 2day (when it dries up outside).
moon unit, I’m in concurrence with your daughter, better to sit and wait and find nothing wrong than leave a problem to get worse…
Back from grocery store run. The Food Lion in Leonardtown is getting a makeover, so some things have moved. I expect before it’s all over, more things will move. I can deal. No really, I can!
Roxy’s b-day present was just delivered. I guess we’ll assemble it while she’s napping. She’s too young to understand a surprise, but she’s active enough to get in our way while we put it together. It may be a tad big for her now, but she’s a big 2-y/o, so I expect come spring, she’ll do just fine on it.
New surgeon’s office rescheduled **FCD **for 10:30. It’s a bit over 2 hours from here, so we’d have to leave by about 8, which is still part of rush hour, so it looks like we’ll leave around 7:30. Another long day ahead. Just hope this guy can do something for him.
