Warning: Football-Like Substance Found!

I told you. Shawn Rogers is an absolute animal up the middle when he’s well. Now you understand why I was so pissed when we let him go.

Yeah you were right. Did you see him last week on MNF? He was triple teamed on at least half the plays and he was still driving them back into the QB or redirecting the RB.

Dude, I almost literally haven’t watched a down of football, either pro or college. This year, that’s a blessing. Political campaigns are taking my life!

My team has specialized in spotting bad teams a 20-point lead and then squashing them for the rest of the game.

I don’t know what it says about the Lions that we only gave you 17.

I also don’t know what it says that of the 8 UCF alumni currently on NFL rosters, 4 are on an 0-11 team.

So… it is possible to give less effort than the Browns did against Houston.

Um. I didn’t see any of the Thanksgiving Day games, but I hear the Lions might have something to say about that.

You know, assuming they can muster up the effort to say something.

I’m pretty sure that’s what he was referring to.

The defense was spectacularly poor. Essentially, the same thing happened on every play the Titans ran on offense- one guy would attempt to rush the passer, the other three linemen played pattycake with their blockers, Ernie Sims would frantically try to tackle the rusher, and the rest of the defense stood around and watched.

There were literally two or three decent defensive plays out of 66. One where Bodden had a nice pass breakup, one where some rookie DE from Purdue (Avril or something) came around the corner and stripped Kerry Collins as he got ready to throw, and one nice tackle behind the line by Sims. The rest of the game, if the Titans failed to gain more than 2-3 yards on a rush, it was because the tailback ran into his own blockers, or because a defender happened to be totally unblocked.

The offense wasn’t much better; KFS had 22 yards on 12 carries, and 21 came on one carry where the Titans’ rushers all went to the outside, and he made a couple of linebackers miss with some nifty spin moves.

If that game is anything to go by, there are quite literally only 3-4 starters on your roster who should be NFL starters- Megatron, Ernie Sims, Bodden (barely) and KFS. Maybe Bullocks, but he was hardly on the field for some reason.

Take Bullocks off your list. He’s a punk.

Lions are crushing the Vikes. Our first victory is assured.

Oh come on. You have the chance to turn mere really horribleness into record-setting ass suckitude. Just go for it.

Lions are in a rout 13 to 10. That is a rout by our standards.

Lions lost by 4.

Lions had the ball with a couple seconds left. Culpepper got hurt on the play before. They bring in Drew Henson and he gets sacked. Lovely ending.

Indy,Saints,Packers. mebbe the Saints…but I hope not

Can anybody be rooting for them to win one now? I was worried about them winning 2 and letting Cinci get the first draft choice. Now there is not much to worry about. Cinci is trying to match our suckatude but we set a high bar.

I think this was the trap game for the Lions. This was the one where they could go in too under-confident and get shocked by an even more lackluster performance by the Vikings and accidentally win one. It almost happened too. If Frerotte had fimished the game, the Silver would have been 1-12.

It’s a clear run to 0-16 now. The shadow of Millen still looms large.

Their last game is at Green Bay, so it won’t be blacked out in Detroit. We’ll be able to watch them make history.

You know they will beat Green Bay in the last game. Green Bay is eliminated and have nothing to play for. They will have a big let down. The Lions will crush them.

Really? Get too overconfident? The Lions? Were they playing the Washington Generals of football?

Reread his post.
