Warning: Football-Like Substance Found!

You know a team is amazingly poor AND unlucky when *Tarvaris Jackson *turns out to be their opponent’s savior.

Will Millen go down as the worst GM of all time? I mean, the '76 (and '77) Bucs were worse on the field, but they were an expansion team.

Millen was no one-year-wonder. He sustained his suckitude for season after season after season with no drop-off. The fact that he’s a household name (most GM’s aren’t) is a testament to his extraordinary crapitude. So yeah, I think he has to be on the short list with the worst in NFL history.

Even as a fan of a division rival, I feel sorry for Detroit fans and would love to see them turn things around. It may take a while to recover from the damage done by Millen, though, and the Lions are still saddled with Ford. Too bad a team can’t fire an owner.

I have not heard how serious it is but Culpepper got hurt with 1 play left in game. We are down to Drew Henson and nobody else against Indy next week. Call your bookie quickly.

This Bengals fan wants for you to have the first pick, desperately. You pick Stafford, we’ll take Smith or Oher.

What about Tebow and Bradford?

No offensive line ,Qbs fail. We get sacked on half our offensive plays. I really don’t think a QB can succeed without time. With time, nearly any QB can win. We go through 2 or 3 a year. Some do well elsewhere.
Millan is going back into commentary. I can not wait for him to get a Lions game. His analysis will be fascinating.

“He hustled on the college tape we saw, I swear!”
“In fairness, I only gave that guy $23 million guaranteed- the rest was roster bonuses.”
“I really feel that our 16-wide base offense would have worked out if those assholes on the competition committee had given our proposed rule changes a fair hearing.”

Millen giving his expert commentary on an organization or a GM will be great. I can’t wait.

Bumping to bring this to the attention of Lions fans:

Precious, but I’m pretty much numb to it all now.

It worked out as well as it can for the Lions. The last 2 games are with teams that have nothing to fight for. The Lions do not want the 0-16 wreath hanging around their necks. The Saints have no reason to play. The LIons whipped the Packers in Green Bay only about 15 years or so ago. The stars are aligned. The Lions could win 2 in a row.

Who wants to be the team that loses to the Lions? They’ll play.

I agree. I think this is the year the Lions finally break on through to the other side.

Besides, can’t the Colts second-teamers take out the Lions?

And that Saints offense is still pretty damn good.

I’m definetely seeing 0-16 for you guys.

And 4-11-1 for the Bengals.

 @ Senorbeef.

Call your bookie, Saints can not cover Calvin. Piles of Lions touchdowns coming.

Is Calvin going to throw it to himself? Block for himself?

How’s he been getting touchdowns all year long so far?

If anyone is looking for a gift for a Lions fan, here’s a strangely appropriate one.

(and check out his number!)

Is it 00?

I’m totally getting this shirt next year:

OWEN

Wasn’t that when they actually had a healthy, quasi-NFL caliber QB at the helm?
