Oh you’d like that wouldn’t you? Well maybe I will go mail some job applications, maybe I’ll do just that.
It may be that you must amend that list, as there is a possibility of my attendance.
It looks like I’m not going to be able to make it after all. 
Another event I have to go to is that same weekend, and I have managed to turn my ankle rather badly, so driving like mad from one event to the other isn’t going to be possible.
Next one, though . . .
Well, since I have decided that I can’t/won’t go to Regionals in Dallas, I figure I will drop in with you guys and get crabs. 
Maybe my new website will even be done by Saturday…
I’m all set. I’m looking forward to this even though I know very few of you very well at all. I must be getting more sociable in my old age.

Good news…I’m getting a new car.
Bad news…I have to go to Dallas to pick it up Saturday.
So barring a change of plans, looks like I can’t make it. I’ll make the next one, though. In my new car.

And I will probably wear a tank top, since I saw someone who is coming gripe about tattoos on women in another thread, and I have a huge one on my back that I suddenly feel compelled to flaunt. So it’s a shirt, but not much of one.
Better bring a camera, you might want proof you met me someday. In another couple of months things are going to get really busy for me, and I’m not sure how many Dopefests I’ll be able to make (I already had to mess up my work schedule this week and lose an afternoon to work on my site for this one.)
I think prior attendees know my feelings on tattoos, on women or otherwise.
