We Gotta Have One, So This Is The MMP

Give us some of your rain!!! It’s horrible down here. And now the damn air conditioning at work is out. It’s already 75°F out and the sun isn’t even up! And humid, too. Blech.

I brought my gym stuff today. My sciatica is acting up, so maybe a little exercise will help.

Sorry about your friends, gotti.

Ugh, don’t like the sound of that. For those of us that don’t Facebook, has a missing persons report been filed?

Happy Tuesday, people…and welcome to the noobz!

mmmmmmmmmmms, is Oklahoma City a good move for you and mr ems? Good news on the surgery if it makes the poorly knee better.

Doggio - where are you moving to? Don’t forget to butter your paws before you go out…

I am being very naughty today. I am bunking off Fat Club tonight and going to the cinema instead. My friend and I have decided to go and see “Thor” but the only night that works for both of us is Tuesday, and given the timings of stuff, we can’t go and get weighed, get some food and be in the cinema in time for the start of the film, so something had to go. That something was the getting weighed bit. Good job really, since I feel like a whale!

Weather’s been mixed, since we like to talk about it, last night we had thunderstorms and today it’s sunny and cloudy. Looked very much like more rain but then the sun came out again. I don’t mind, I have been out already today and stayed dry, it’s fine raining when I’m stuck in the office.

gotti perhaps I am an incorrigible curmudugeon but I don’t feel real sorry for “B”. See, I have a friend who is a packrat. Three years ago a bunch of us helped him clean out and clean up his place because he said he wanted to get rid of the clutter (cat puke included), so we did. His house is all cluttered up again. So, it may be wrong, but I just don’t have sympathy anymore. Maybe your friends’ situation is different and they really will declutter and keep it that way. I hope so after y’all put in all that hard work.

I’m at irk. Woo and Hoo. In a while I shall mosey on down to the civic center to do my thang there.

Here’s to ungrumpy bus drivers Herbs!

Well… if you don’t like chocolate beer, what about chocolate bieber?

>.>

Congrats! You managed to oogy me.

swampbear, young man, are you studying for that certification test on Thursday? No? I didn’t think so. No, it does not matter that it is an open book test you should be reviewing for it anyway. Now, march yourself right in there and get busy! Not another word out of you! Don’t give me that look! I said march!

I needed motivation.

OK, it’s 85 degrees, mostly sunny and just a light breeze.

I’m going outside, and staying there!

::golf clap::
Well done!!!

Rebo it was enough to oogy even the most ummm… unoogyible amongst us.

I can’t study. The book is in a locked office for which I have no key. Oh sure, I could go find a key but well, if it were meant for me to study then the book would have been readily available I say.

You can aways sleep with the book undur your pillow. You know… osmosis.

Reckon that would work if I napped with my haid against the locked office door?

yeah, me too… <shudder> I might have felt differently when I was 11, but that was *sooooooooooo *long ago, it’s hard to guess.

Bossman has declared that tomorrow will be resume day. We’re supposed to make sure our RIF resumes are ready to be checked by Security (mine is done) so we can incorporate the unclassified job summaries in our other resumes. I’ll use the time to build a conventional resume, even tho I don’t think I want to work if I am able to retire. We shall see.

I did a little math and figured I’ll save $250-$300 per month by not commuting to work and not buying breakfast/lunch items every week. Putting that in our spreadsheet and going with the assumption that my incentive and leave sellback will eliminate targeted debts, we’ll actually have more disposable income after I retire! That’s a relief. We need to decide, then, if we should put the extra into savings or throw it on the mortgage. I’m thinking savings is probably the better choice. Gonna talk to my CPA bro and get his feedback.

We’ve got a stoopit training exercise coming up that runs thru a weekend. Nothing like having to work 12 days straight. On the other hand, I’ll bank 16 credit hours, so there’s that. And we also have a 3-day weekend coming up, so there’s that, too.

That’s about all for now. Feel-good hugs to all who need them, and miscellaneous smoochies and gropes to the rest.

Yay, I oogified someone!

Yay for retirement! I wish I was retiring :frowning:

Argh, this application is a million pages long. It’s just for a job teaching English at a community college. I didn’t think I needed Federal security clearance for that. The best part (other than shelling out to get a copy of my transcript sent out) is that I need to figure out which of my managers to approach to fill out the referral form for current supervisor. Yeah, I’m looking. You knew I would, dammit.

I think I’ll go with Big Boss. He’s most likely to get it done in eight hours.

BigBoss is always a good choice Spaz. I mean, BigBoss should be the one that knows stuff, right?

Yay for step closer to retirement MOOOOOOM!

Salmon patties, English peas, smashed N.O.T. and bizkits for dindin. YUM! 'Twas good!

Sorry about your friend, Soapy. I’m pretty sure I told you that on FB as well, but…just in case. (And, in case she doesn’t make it in here in the meantime, yes, lieu, her friend has been reported missing.)

Yes, Big Boss sounds like the right choice, Spaz. As long as he knows you well enough to give you a decent recommendation, of course.

Yay for impending retirement, FCM.

I am NOT clicking that link. So, there. :stuck_out_tongue:

Also sorry about your friends, gotti. They all sound like they’re in non-fun situations that are hard to get out of. :frowning:

It’s looking like it’ll rain again soon, so I’m not working in the garden tonight; maybe tomorrow.

Off to find dinner and figure out what to do next…

Hugs.

gt I couldn’t study cause [del]the dog ate my book[/del] the book was in a locked office that nobody there had a key to. Well, nobody around me had a key and I didn’t look elsewhere cause, ummm… let’s see… it would have taken up valuable time I should be usin’ on more pressin’ irk. YEAH! I like that reason!

Since daughter and I both had errands to run, we had supper at Red Robin, then ran to WalMart and Petco. Shortly, I will hit the shower and crash for the night. C’mon, Firday!!!

I’m watching hockey at the Bistro with a foam shark hat on my head. I left work early because a. I had 5 asthma attacks and b. a customer wanted to argue that the empty gift boxes weren’t empty.:dubious:
Go for retirement, MMMMMMooooooommmmmm!!!
