I am so glad that the weekend is almost here! I’ve been super busy at work this week and this afternoon when I went out to the bus stop, it turned out that the buses weren’t coming into our complex, so I had to trek down to the main road, and then cross the -four lane street- (no cross walks, btw) to be able to catch the bus! :eek: :rolleyes: 
What was supposed to happen was that the road into the complex would be closed after 6 pm so that they could do some sealant work. Somewhere along the line, a mis-communication got things all fucked up! (Excuse my language!). They also never put out the memo that this was going to happen. Someone in the Facilities office may get into trouble over this.
At least tomorrow is FIRDAY, so there is that. YAY! And please let me hear more about the Swampy move! I’m still in shock!
Hi all! I think **LiLi **told y’all for me, but just in case you missed it, the 'Dope’s blocked at work so I can’t hang out here like I used to. And I’m spending more time at work than I used to, leaving less time when I get home. Which was already less time than I wanted. I miss everyone here but I miss my sanity and occasional quiet time after work more.
Work is going well other than being busy. I have two good candidates for my first job opening or maybe fore both. Not sure. But that’s going well.
Congrats (?) on the move, Soapy.
And yes, I knew what crudites were. I don’t really think it’s foodie… more a snooty rich folks’ word.
Didn’t catch up on everything else, but I wanted to say hi before chilling out for the evening. ::waves:: Rosie’s sig to all.

I have been in swampy’s neck of the woods this week. Well kinda. I flew into Savannal on Tuesday then I have been in Brunswick yesterday and today then fly home tomorrow. Fun!
Ate dinner on St Simons Island tonight and went for a walk on the beach after. This being a recruiter lark can be fun!

It is a good move we get to be ‘normal and married’ with me not being 9 timezones away or constantly on a plane and exhausted. Plus I get to learn some new skills which if I decide to leave the company make me more marketable :D:eek:
Now we just have to sell the house and figure out where the money will come from to make up the huge negative equity we have since the market crashed:eek:

I am not, I repeat not movin’ to Lawn Guylindt. Not that it wouldn’t be perfectly loverly to have Rosie and Soapy as neighbors. I just cannot deal with such things as snow and ice. There is a reason I live where I do. Speakin’ of which, mmmmmm’s you were about three hours away from me! Ain’t St. Simon’s jake! Congrats on the move and the less travelin’ and such.
Today is picnic day at irk. All the senior center’s are havin’ a picnic and staff get to pick one to go hang out at and help. Well, in my case, I got recruited to go to large and in charge Colquitt to help out. I’m goin’ with a co-irker who I always have fun bein’ with, so there’s that. Check out the link for “Swamp Gravy”. It really is a hoot. The actin’ and singin’ is just amazin’!
Ok, now I go in search of more caffiene and brekkie for rumbly tummy. Then I must commence purtification for irk/pic-a-nicin’. I was told the colors to wear are red and black. I do have a pair of black jeans and a red shirt so I shall be fashionable!
