I just started watching Weeds two weeks ago. The mom looks familiar, but I can’t place her. The hot friend is hot. THe brother seems cool.
So, I got that the hot friend had implants and is getting them out now? She has cancer?
The mom is opening up a bakery as a front? WHo’s the Rasta looking lady?
I’m enjoying the show, bt I know I’m missing some back stories. Can someone catch me up, please?
I don’t follow the show at all (don’t have Showtime), but I know that the lead is Mary Louise Parker. She’s been in a bunch of movies, and had a recurring rle on The West Wing spannking most of the show’s seven seasons.
The mom is Mary Louise Parker. Yes, she’s getting them out because of the cancer. Bakery is a front. Rasta looking lady is her current source who she will be cutting out, hence the bakery.
The back story is that Mary Louise Parker’s husband died and she is still trying to keep her house, life, etc., that she and hubby built for the kids. However, she apparently has no skills and needs lots of money (Agrestic doesn’t look cheap) so she starts selling (I can’t remember exactly how she started or how she met her current source).
I love this show but since I don’t have Showtime I have to wait until a new season comes out on DVD. So I haven’t seen any of the new season, dammit!
