Alright got a trade proposal for you guys to look over.

In the SDMB auction league, I have created the greatest team known to man. It’s a 10 player league and here’s my roster:

QB Aaron Rodgers
WR Andre Johnson
WR Calvin Johnson
WR Terrell Owens
RB Arian Foster
RB Jahvid Best
TE Tony Gonzalez
K Neil Rackers
DEF Pittsburgh

Wow, gratz on the team. One of my league members had almost the perfect draft this season:

1. AP
2. Peyton Manning
3. Antonio Gates

Yours is probably better though thanks to foster, best, and pitt D…all of them were valued lower than how they performed this year.

Sounds like a good deal, although I wouldn’t want Carnell either. I would say Best straight up for Gates is a good deal but that leaves you with Tony. Maybe there’s someone else he can give instead of Carnell that would be more useful to you? I think you need a WR while AJ is beat up.

My Arian Foster and Rapistberger for DeAngelo Williams and Tom Brady. I’m fine with selling high on Foster, and he’s #1 right now. My starting quarterback is Eli, so I could really use an upgrade there.

Wow I wouldn’t trade Arian for that. He is the #1 RB in fantasy right now, while Brady is ~5th among qb’s. Put it another way, I am thinking about making an offer for Arian with Calvin Johnson and MJD. I think Ben would be a fine starting QB after next week, and you’ll get a full 12 weeks out of him since his bye is passed. My wife has Brady, and he’s had 2 disgustingly poor outings so far, the 2 td effort vs the Jets and the 1 td effort vs the Fins. Deangelo looks to be having a terrible season as well.

Right. Buy low, sell high. What use is trading Foster when he’s not of some value? Why pay a higher price than necessary for the other players?
