We're early, we're early and it ain't so important... a pointless MMP

Yay for IB being home, Haze.

Glad your trip went well taxi.

Glad he’s doing better tarra.

Those people need a clue-by-four, among other things, Bobbio. That’s just awful.

Ah, yes, clueless guests are fun, FCM.

Nice to see you again, nashi.

Good thoughts for FCD’s surgery already.

That library job is really good for you, isn’t it, rigs?

I got home and went for a walk. There are so many things blooming that I was afraid I’d miss some. Got some nice pictures of the neighborhood and of my garden (the garden pictures include a bunch that are just for record-keeping, but there are some pretty ones mixed in with them.

Now I’m hanging out, watching a movie on German TV and about to start knitting… Woo hoo!!!

Back later.

GT

“She comes from a good bloodline, so we want to breed her…”

Yeah, to every male roaming the neighborhood. I call bullshit on the good bloodline anyways. She came from A. Puppy. Mill.

Sure removed all doubt, didn’t they?

I loathe puppy mills more than clueless owners. Puppy mill people are disgusting, shameful, evil wastes of space.
Ok. Enough hostility. Off to watch ST. Tralala!

Yes, GT–the library has been very very good to me…

Weren’t folks, long time ago, required to have dog licenses before they could own a dog? there ought to be a test, a learner’s permit, another test, a fostering, then an adoption.

Drives by, waves. 9.5 more days until I get my life back! I’d forgotten just how crazy it gets at the end. On the upside, this is the very first busy season that I’ve **lost **weight. Generally, you either lose or gain 15-20 pounds. I’ve lost 12 so far. I think it’s all the caffeine in place of food.

Yays, boos, hugs, sympathy, smooches, etc. to everyone who needs 'em.

mia, that’s scary. Do you have a security system?

Bob, that sucks. Stupid people shouldn’t have pets.

Long tired day here, plus last night was terrible- Gnat’s blood sugar shot up and we had to give him insulin at midnight and he was sick and fussy, plus newborn waking every hour. Tired.Bedtime and fingers crossed for a better night.

crosses appendages for better nights for LiLi and good surgery for FCD
Gratz on the visa, ems. I always got terrrrrrrribly nnnnnniervous whenevre I hadta deal with INS-or-whatever-they’re-called-now.
Since I had already told my housesitter that it was all right to move his gf in as I wasn’t going to need the flat (they’re supposed to get their own flat in one year and thought it was a Good Idea to get some “live together time” before co-signing a mortgage; I concur), I’m now in the situation of having to either say “oh, no, wait” for what might be a week or having to stay at Mom’s for what might be months. I’ve asked Singlebro to let me use his flat as an “office”: if I’m there, I won’t be hearing Mom’s TV through a closed door, I won’t need to have a closed door which anyway nobody respects, and I won’t be tense expecting Mom to come in at anytime because the question of whether those pants make her ass look like pants or not is too urgent and cannot wait until I’m off the phone with a client (Mom, what makes your ass look like pants is age and fat; if you’re asking whether those trousers are baggy then the answer is yes). I’ll even be able to play music without anybody coming in and saying “what is that noise? oh, it’s your music!”

Yay for mmmmm and her shiny new visa.

Oh…and LiLi’s post reminded me: that does sound scary, mia. Hope whoever it is finds the correct door tonight. I had that happen to me a couple of times at past residences; it was always someone who was, how shall we say, chemically altered. Still called 911 both times, since they were knocking awfully hard.

Hope Nat’s sugar stabilizes soon. I’m sure it’s no fun to have to wake up to handle that. :frowning:

Ooooh, Nava, that sounds tricky.

Good thing I took those pics earlier; we’ve had a couple of storms pass through in the past two hours (including hail!), so a lot of the flowers are probably gone by now.

I’m sure I’m forgetting something…

Good luck on your first day of work tomorrow, Puggy!

And Happy Birthday, HRH!!!

Hugs all.

GT

Pollen is making us crabby. When will it go away?

In California, we might have pollen for a day, and then it goes away. Not here.

DH is cranky because it’s turning every stationary thing, including the floors, inside the house yellow-green. We finally gave up and turned on the AC, not so much because it’s warm outside, but to stop the invading stuff.

Yech and achoo!

Busy times here, I am off to visit my doting parent for the next couple of days so I will be out of range of t’interwebz. Try not to miss me too much!

Rosie’s sig to all!

Nooooo! BooFae, we miss you! Don’t leave us alone!

Missed most of last week with a bad case of Unending Weekendtisis here…

Had to go back and read to see what things are all about… Mostly {{{Tarra}}}!! Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery!!

Nava – transitions… Never easy, even when you’ve BTDT multiple times.

Hugs, gropes and kisses to everybody else!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN Thus beginneth my irkweek.

I think I have some trainin’ for a couple of hours today. I can’t remember. Guess I’ll find out when I get there.

Ok, rumbly tummy demands to be fed so I shall forage.

Happy Tuesday Y’all!

Big hugs for herbs! You and your SO are in my thoughts.

I am totally agonizing over getting an iPhone. Haven’t quite managed to justify it to myself. But I want it! It’s pretty!

{{{{herbs}}}}

Yay to new visa, ems!

Poor Stella. :frowning:

Beautimous pictures, gt!

Good luck on the digs, nava.

Up very early this morning. Glad to be back in the irkforce. It should be an interesting day.

Tupug

The computer will finally be picked up this afternoon, yay. And I’m all set to camp at my bro’s, with the understanding that Mom gets to feed me (or not, given that I need to eat lunch about one hour sooner than she and Bro do, that part has been left open to experimenting).

Blurf.

Had a good light show this morning on the way to irk. A line of thunderstorms to the north, with flashes visible at the VunderLair, and bolts to be seen when I got to Chesapeake. I loves me a good thunderstorm.

I got nuttin.

Up, caffeinated, off to irk, then off to the bat to watch hockey tonight.

gotti, it hangs for a few weeks, or until it rains.

Serious lack of motivation. Hope teaching helps jazz me up a bit.

Bleh. I want bed.

Lissla, Hoping baby feels better, and that you get some sleep.

I had one but my very noisy hound passed away about a year ago (bloat). I’ve been on the fence lately b/c the kids have been bugging me about getting a dog. But I guess being unemployed now I have the time and attention to give to training. So we went to North Shore Animal League yesterday. Obligatory link. I have to say she’s a very sweet gentle thing, and doesn’t bark so much. (We also installed motion sensor lights front and back and took care of other various security issues. Also sleeping with hammer under bed).

VunderBob, couldn’t these people be persuaded to at least use a no kill shelter? (they usually have them fixed before adoption)

Swampbear, what’s death chicken?
