What did you have for breakfast?

A 12oz bottle of V8 bought from the vending machine at work… my ‘usual’.

I am really surprised at the number of people who have time to cook breakfast in the morning. When my alarm goes off, it is a whirlwind of activity trying to get out the door to work. I am lucky I remember my pants at times.

A glass of V8 Fusion juice (strawberry-banana). I’m not a big morning eater.

Today: a triple scotch, four beers and a quaalude.

Yesterday and Tuesday: Bagle with cream cheese.

Last Friday morning, we went out for breakfast and I had lobster eggs benedict. It was pretty good. My daughters favorite is scrambled eggs, grits and bacon, so I’ll make that a couple times a month. And I had pancakes on Monday.

Ugh. Had a meeting early this morning, so it was a cold english muffin. Yum. Right now I am eating dried mango strips to try to stave off hunger pangs…can’t go to lunch yet.

Tea and a granola bar. I have a cup of coffee on my desk from which I’ve taken three tiny sips. I’m starving…

Cigarette and a cup of coffee. I was running late this morning and am now sitting on a conference call. Probably won’t get to eat till at least lunch.

Damn, can I come over for breakfast tomorrow? Just skip the black (or trade for white) and add tomatos and we’ll be all good.

You are welcome my friend, shall we say about 9.30…oh and do you want fresh or canned toms, we have 'em both.

Yes and coffee, lots of coffee

(Had this queued up to post when the board went down for a couple hours this morning):

Fried egg well done, with corned beef hash, liberally sprinkled with hot wing sauce. OJ and coffee.

My usual breakfast is an egg on a roll, well done, with bacon and cheddar cheese, liberally daubed with Blair’s Mega Death. Ditto on the OJ and coffee.

Second most common breakfast is a coffee cup-ful of Stonyfield Farms whole milk plain yogurt. And sometimes I do spicy hot V8 instead of the OJ.

This morning I had half a pita with hummus, chopped tomatoes and cucumbers.
And coffee. It’s not breakfast without coffee.
It’s been my ‘usual’ through the summer.
My very favorite breakfast is a couple of eggs any style and bacon. Crispy bacon. Mmmmm.
And coffee.

Today - synthroid.

Yesterday - synthroid.

The day before - synthroid.

Not super big into the whole “breakfast” concept. Lunch doesn’t usually happen either. Dinner about 4 times a week.

I really need to eat more…

2 slices of toast, one buttered, and one with boysenberry jam
and a slice of leftover birthday cake (mint chocolate)

A grapefruit, two 20 oz. bottles of ginger ale, and pretzels.

Let’s go with fresh, and then we’ll broil them nice and toasty. The coffee you can have, I’ll stick with breakfast tea.

2 cups of coffee
3/4 c. Oatmeal (old fashioned, not instant) with a packet of sweet and low.

This is what I have almost every day. I keep the oatmeal in my desk at work.

My usual weekday morning breakfast:

2 bowls of bran flakes w. 1% milk, followed by:
3 cups of coffee (consumed throughout the morning at work)

We often cook interesting and tasty things for breakfast on the weekend, but I’ve realized that I’m sleepy enough to not really care what I eat before work so it may as well be something healthy.

How do you cook oatmeal at work, if it’s not instant (yes, I know, instant isn’t ‘cooked’)?

Wow, you guys are some healthy breakfast eaters. I had some french fries with blue cheese dressing and a couple wint-o-green lifesavers. I also dreamed about having a cigarette (it has been ten days…go me).

Today: Golden Grahams with sliced banana in it. 1% milk.

Favorite: Swiss and mushroom omelette, sausage on the side, Englush muffin. Much coffee, light and sweet. Boston Cream doughnut.

OR

Chocolate Chip pancakes. Sausage on the side. Much coffee, light and sweet.

I had what I have at the office every morning: A Styrofoam cup full of ‘Eat Well, Be Well’ cereal with skim plus milk. Its sugar free (sugar alcohol free too). My nutritionist said it’s OK, but Total with extra protein is better for me. I’ll switch over after I’ve used up the box.
