What did you have for lunch this afternoon?

Two bologna, cheese and mustard sandwiches and a bottle of grape Propel.

Two mini-pulled pork sandwiches with a tiny bit of vinegar slaw on top. Leftovers from last night’s dinner. Oh - and water to drink.

Eggplant and chicken sausage in a spiced yogurt-tomato sauce over whole wheat pasta. Sort of an Iranian-Italian experiment. It turned out quite good!

Chili, Mon-Thu this week. Friday there’s a free lunch, I don’t know what they’ll be serving (but who cares, it’s free).

Jambalaya

Frozen pizza (Totinos).

Eh, it’s cheap.

Some leftover roast beef, a sliced up green pepper, a slice of bread I baked yesterday (with butter) and a handful of jellybeans. And a Coke Zero. I also have an orange, but I’m not sure if I’m in the mood to eat it.

a krakas ham slice on an Hawaiian bun with a dab of mayo, bread & butter pickles, fresh baby carrots, unsweetened applesauce and a glass of acai berry V8 Fusion.

Leftover lentil soup, with a little corn and shredded chicken in it. Looked disgusting, tasted delicious. :slight_smile: In fact, the color is so off-putting that I was actually mentally whining about having to eat it even though I’ve already had some and know it’s super-tasty. But as soon as that first spoonful was in my mouth … mmmm.

Will probably nuke up some chicken broth and quinoa in the break room as a midafternoon snack in a bit.

Two grilled Tesco Butcher’s Choice pork sausages on a gigantic hotdog bun with onions, ketchup and English mustard. Washed down with a pint of fizzy water.

A pack of soda biscuits with cinnamon that my daughter brings home from work, and two cups of tea with milk.

Small salad (just lettuce and tomato and cuke), leftover roasted veggies and leftover grilled shrimp.

Gnocchi in a pesto paprika sauce with grilled chicken and red peppers.

Tuna sandwich, 2 dill pickle slices, and a soda. I never drink soda at work, but today I was having a bad day.

I threw a bunch of stuff into the rice cooker: 1 cup brown rice, about a cup and a half of water, some raw diced chicken breast that I’d thawed to use up, half a can of leftover black beans, half a diced red bell pepper, two chopped scallions, and half a packet of taco seasoning. Sprinkled some shredded Mexican cheese over it when it was done. Pretty good.

Tuna melt, french fries and a coke.

Promax meal bar (double fudge brownie). Delish.

Leftover stuffing and gravy from the chicken I roasted last night.

Nothing yet… I’m thinking now about making some sort of crab dish with canned crab meat.
