I had always associated the taste of pennies as indication of increasing arousal of women prior to engaging in oral sex but IIRC it can apply to oral as well but with a slight difference. Whatever if does taste like is pleasurable.

I hadn’t thought about it before but the pennies and battery answers are spot on, as part of the taste anyway. There is another part to the taste which is mainly aroma - the smell of sex. That can be mildly fishy or musky in a good way. Sometimes strong, sometimes faint, it is strongest at first taste but fades. Assuming a clean and health vaginal area, of course.
