What game(s) are you playing right now?

Civilisation 4
Colonisation
Lord of the Rings Online

Right now I’m playing “surfing the Dope instead of working”…

…but I don’t think that’s what you meant

For me it depends on my mood on the day in question, but goes back and forth between

World of Tanks
Civilization V
Dwarf Fortress

until I decide to pony up the money to re-subscribe to World of Warcraft, anyway.

Resogun!

Started playing Contrast but the developer keeps announcing big patches so I decided maybe I should hold off until they have it all showroom ready. No sense in rushing through it and then getting annoyed by a bug.

The game itself is enjoyable. Platformer that flips between 3D and 2D as your character becomes a shadow so you might hit a scene where you hop around in 3D to get move the boxes or lights to create shadows that you can then enter and jump your way in 2D to some other location, go back to 3D, etc. I’m sure the concept (2D/3D) has been done before although I wouldn’t be the one to tell you where 'cause platformers ain’t usually my thing. The 1920’s setting is interesting provided you’re the sort to enjoy a 1920’s setting.

So, while waiting on that, I started Saints Row IV. It’s… okay? I’m having fun but I find that I prefer the carjacking and bang-bang of Saints Row the Third over the Super Sprint and pew-pew of SR IV. I’m sure I’ll finish it and enjoy it but SRTT will remain my go-to for mindless criminal mayhem.

Dust 514
GTA V
Killzone: Shadow Fall

I cannot stop driving! Asphalt 8 is the best driving game since San Francisco Rush 2049 on the Dreamcast, and I cannot stop playing it. I can play for hours and hours at a stretch too: today I played for all 9 hours I was at work!

Alone, I’ve recently been playing the epilogues of Red Dead Redemption and Batman: Arkham City. I rented WWE 2K14 awhile ago since I couldn’t afford to buy it yet, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Can’t wait to get it permanently.

With a buddy of mine, we’ve been playing Super Mario Bros. 3 on an SNES emulator. We’re late in World 5 at he moment, and I’ve been playing so well that my friend would be getting a little bit of an inferiority complex if he weren’t having so much fun. (I’m probably one of the best Mario 3 players there is).

I’m late to Skyrim and picked it up for a crazy low price on a Steam sale so I’m completely absorbed with that and will be for a good while.
