Used to be a fun site to follow, even though way too many of the items were about Harry/Meghan or the Kardashians.
But in 2022, the new posts gradually petered out and just stopped; there’s nothing after December of that year.
Did all the “stringers” lose their access to celebrities? Did the site owner die?
So I guessed right. That’s a shame.
I don’t remember anything “right-wing” or particularly political at all from the site though.
About two decades ago there were about a dozen or so websites or blogs posting anonymous new blind items about various celebrities.
Now there is only one left posting them consistently—Crazy Days and Nights. I don’t know how accurate ALL of the stuff they post are but they were were “reporting” on rumors about Harvey Weinstein, Bill Cosby and Puffy Daddy years before the mainstream media broke the news about thm.
Stupid question - what does “blind” gossip mean?
From Wikipedia, “A blind item is a news story, typically in a gossip column, in which the details of the matter are reported while the identities of the people involved are not revealed.”
How does that work? “A hip hop mogul from New York who once had a big hit that contained a Police sample allegedly has sex parties that involve illegal activities.”?
Some are more obvious than others. Though I’ve read some that suggest a particular person or persons but later find out things that prove it wrong.
Crazy Days & Nights is that Entertainment Lawyer guy, right?
Didn’t care for his writing style. He wasted way too much space on whether the person was A, B, C-list or whatever, in each category (screen, stage, TV, singing etc.) And he wasn’t as competent a writer as Ace.
Perez Hilton only seemed to have items about such-and-such [actor, musician] being closeted gay, which I couldn’t give a damn about.
