I made Chicken Thighs last night. Cooked to 120 in the microwave first then coated with olive oil and black pepper then BBQ’d. Shredding up the meat tonight and mixing with sautéed onions and adding that to a Sweet Basil Suddenly Salad mix. Sprinkled with sharp cheddar cheese and Ken’s Vidalia Onion dressing.
Sadly, it’s not Huy Fong. It’s Sky Valley, which is what they have at the Korean-owned corner market. (Too bad they stopped carrying kimchi.)
Snack: Two each 3-inch, thinly-sliced spicy coppa sausage, spicy sopressa salami, and spicy capocolla.
Dinner: Mahi-mahi burger with Swiss cheese and tartar sauce on low-carb bread, and Baken-ets.
Pronounced, “gabagool,” on a certain TV show.
Breakfast: nothing
Lunch: nothing
Tea: 3 hours on the exercycle and a 45 minute walk
Dinner: now microwaving a Trader Joe’s chile chicken bowl, 320 cal
Yes, I’m dieting and intermittent fasting. I’ll probably eat 1100 calories total before bed.
Me: 3.13 mile walk, 1 hour.
Breakfast: Cheerios with blueberries, toast with strawberry jam
Lunch: leftover pizza
Dinner: Roast chicken, butternut squash, field peas and sliced tomatoes
Small piece of chocolate cake. Peanut butter sandwich.
Two pieces of Thomas’ Cinnamon Swirl bread toasted and topped with peanut butter. Also, a banana, a large glass of ice water and 5 Reeses’ miniature peanut butter cups that were chilled while I ate my toast. All eaten while reading through SD.
A bag once opened must be consumed in its entirety.
I loved that moment when I realized I could understand soprano.
Today? as of 11:30 a.m. I finished the rest of a pasta salad I made last night, thin spaghetti, basil, chopped tomato and a huge clove of minced garlic. With Aldi Mediterranean dressing. I imagine my breath could knock a buzzard off a sh!t-house door, but I’m not planning on going anywhere today.
Breakfast: coffee
Lunch: hard boiled egg, snack size piece of cheddar cheese, an apple
Dinner: Beef tacos, the crunchy kind. Dessert was two pumpkin spice cookies with cream cheese bits baked in.
Too much.
Pizza rolls, cake, roast, carrot, and potato stew.
First Meal: Jersey MIke’s #3 Sub and two small bags of chips with Diet Pepsi.
Night Meal: Double Meat Whataburger w/cheese, large fries, and a Pepsi Zero.
some Cheese ball snacking through the day.
Mondays is my ‘eating out’ day. Rest of the week is eating in and trying to watch the calories.
So far today? I don’t do ‘breakfast’, though if really hungry I will have a little of the leftovers, if any, from the previous night’s meal. This morning, at 9 a.m. had coffee and the rest of the PF Chang Dan Dan noodles we had last night.
I had a banana and black coffee for breakfast. For lunch, I had a BLT with avocado, and a cup of rice pudding. For dinner, I had chicken quesadillas with green chili salsa. I may have some kind of sweet later.
We buried our mother today. Met at restaurant afterwards. Chicken salad and beer. Now eating dinner. Salmon salad and beer.
