We’re looking into what made that video auto-play. But in the meanwhile, I’ve (I think) broken it so it’ll just display as a URL, rather than as an embedded video.

Possibly relevant is the provider of the video-- I’ve never heard of yarn.io before.

Audio Autoplaying in Topic/Thread?

When I open this thread about catch phrases, and scroll to the last post (#226) or thereabouts, it automatically plays a second or 2 of audio. Scroll up a ways and back down, and it plays again. If I click on the link in that post, it doesn’t autoplay at the new site. What is up? Can whatever is causing this be corrected? Is it happening for anyone else?

Autoplaying video

I rather like the way Discourse automatically displays inline images and videos. However, in this post - Men, is Sitting on Your Own Nuts a Thing? - the video and associated audio automatically plays. Autoplaying video should not be a thing.
