What is Trump's current health?

I’d like to have him have an MRI twice a day. So much fun.

Can I pick the music? Oh, oh, oh. Bruce Springsteen.

I agree with everything in your post except this.

Trump could have heard about the scam full-body MRI and to pacify him they give him a more limited MRI. We just do not know.

Now, he probably has some chronic medical problem – because almost everyone does by age 79.

And the fact that he has stopped having rallies shows you he is, like others his age, slowing down.

None of that tells me anything about his life expectancy.

This company’s been promoting them hard. I believe trump’s was for his brain, though, no matter what he was told.

Why not a hokey cokey? It’d keep him too busy to get up to mischief.

(I’ve had one, as part of a research project: not much fun),

What is a hokey cokey in this context?

Trump just had an MRI of his torso as part of normal screening for a man his age. The results? “Perfectly normal.” And, of course, he plays golf frequently. When you see that decreasing, you’ll know his health isn’t what it used to be. White House releases details of Trump's MRI scan - CBS News

Welcome to the SDMB!

If one is willing to take the publicly released information at face value, from an administration which is well-known for being less than entirely truthful, then more power to you.

And, as has been discussed in several threads here, including this one: no, an MRI is typically not done as “part of normal screening,” even for a man of his age. Doctors generally only order an MRI if there is something specific that they are checking for:

In out, in out…

.

Let’s look at it the other way and consider an unhappy thought. Even with the best healthcare, age 79 is getting up to near the life expectancy for any man in any nation, and health maladies are to be expected. At what point would the absence of disease suggest Trump is an unusually healthy person for his age?

It’s an interesting hypothetical, but evidence is that there is no absence of disease. Cognitive disease is evident, and there are the bruises that the administration pretends never happened.

(Also, the man has valiantly struggled against bone spurs his entire life, which must have taken its toll. /s)

I’ll repeat the above question. Never heard of a hokey cokey.

I’d rather see him do the hokey croakey. There are certainly some unanswered questions about his health. Why did he disappear from view for several days. Why is he suddenly not on the golf course? How is a guy who weighs 224 pounds built like a walrus? The signs of physical and mental decline are obvious and seem to be accelerating. I want to see the images from the MRI- not that I would know what I’m looking at but so people that do know will be able to give us some straight answers.

I thought it was known in the US

Oh, Hokey Pokey. Never heard of Hokey Cokey.

It’s the same thing only twitchier.

It’s the UK version, as the song and dance became popularized there in the 1940s before it caught on in the US.

Funny enough, going back to the 1842 in Scotland, it was called the Hinkumbooby. Which I think sounds more appropriate for Trump for some reason. It could describe most of his policies, a bunch of Hinkumbooby.

Or, if the MRI found a mass in his chest, you could say he was diagnosed with a Hinkumbooby.

Would that it were an Alien. Of the movie sort, not the immigrant sort.

ICE would still be going after that xenomorph, and probably blame the Biden administration for letting it in with open borders.

Also, I feel obligated to mention that people who want to rant about Trump and health-related issues, there is a place for you in the Pit. Lots of wit (much of which is less-than-stellar but hey, it’s the Pit) can be seen in that thread. And every now and then, some good info.

“She messed around with a bloke named Hokey
She loved him though he was cokey”

That’s all that comes to mind.

Either would be interesting.
