Maybe he really is sick. Fundraising to help someone get into heaven isn’t the mark of a healthy person, is it?

Trump’s going to take it with him?
“Hi de hidey hidey hi!”
Love Cab Calloway.
He really is just a sleazy ‘80s televangelist, isn’t he?
Since you can’t take it with you, a televangelist would tell you to send it to him.
The difference is that when Robert Tilton asked for your money, it was to get YOU into heaven, not him.
So he was selling tickets.
Because the word “indulgences” fell out of favor. ![]()
More like he’d put in a good word for you.

Trump showing signs he’s battling major medical crisis, Democrat claims
My two cents is that Trump is the sort of person who might watch a TV ad for one of the two FDA-approved Alzheimer’s preventives and then ask his doc for it. Here is an ad:
I myself have an appointment next February at the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center in Phildelphia because I am worried about memory loss that is hopefully normal aging. My family medicine doc already ordered a head MRI (which was negative) because she knew it was part of the neurology workup and thought it might as well be done first. Trump’s people said his was a chest MRI, but he would have gotten them to lie if it was really a brain scan.
I doubt I will go on a preventive drug because I read a 2021 book by the head of the Philadelphia center, who then doubted the drugs coming up through the pipeline were going to work well enough to be worth suffering the side-effects. But Trump may believe he knows better. A lot of VIP’s do. His worst medical problem may well be VIP Syndrome.
Trump’s doctors are ultimately going to be loyal to their patient rather than to the public. So Donald is probably on more drugs than they admit to. Secrecy, a difficult patient, and current medical privacy ethics mean there is no way to tell whether DJT’s overall health is poor, fair, or good.
’
I agree w your premises. But the correct comclusion is “There’s no way to tell about trump’s health based on what the lying fucks will admit to.”
The gross parameters can be at least guessed at based on his public appearances, etc.
There would be some poetic justice if he suffered a major adverse event from the garbage ineffective Alzhiemers drug(s) his corrupt FDA approved in his prior term in defiance of all the evidence and all the professional FDA staff opinion.
It’s certainly plausible, especially since his father had dementia for the last decade of his life. As Trump sees 80 approaching, I can completely see him demanding some sort of preventative treatment plan.
Remember too that he is associating with RFK Jr, a proponent of woo science and quackery. So it also wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if Trump was pursuing some medical regimen whose effectiveness was uncertain.
I’d be completely unsurprised if he was taking Leqembi, either on his doctors advice, or just demanding it like a petulant toddler.
It fits all available evidence; The increasingly obvious mood changes, trouble with language, confusion about time and place… Physical symptoms like tiredness and bruising around the injection site… And of course the MRI, which is required as a regular followup to look for amyloid beta plaques in the brain.
The MRI was indeed “routine”. Routine for people taking Leqembi.
It pretty much explains everything that we’re seeing, and have been seeing for months now.
Leqembi was approved in 2023 and its competitor, Kisunla, in 2024.
They weren’t approved in defiance of all evidence, but rather in presence of contradictory evidence. If Trump is taking one, it probably makes his cognition marginally better.
Leqemb (but not Kisunla) is approved in the EU. They both are approved in Japan. Whether to approve them is a legitimate hard decision. And there is no political or moral advantage to Donald Trump getting side effects from whatever legal drugs he takes.
Thanks for the correction about those meds.
There was a useless Alzheimers med approved during the previous trump FDA. It was pretty controversial at the time and was the start of the political-izing and de-science-izing of the FDA. That med is actually Aduhelm, also known as aducanumab.
It’s ironic I had misremembered the name. Heh.
The bruising/bandaging of Trump’s hand could well reflect regular IV infusion of something.
Possibly Ibogaine. Or adrenochrome made in secret tunnels, disguised under construction of the new White House ballroom.
If the dude is going to be getting regular infusions of anything, it’d sure be easy to put a Port (medicine) - Wikipedia in him so there’s nothing to be seen anywhere that’d ever be exposed in public.
It’d also be a lot more convenient for the patient.
True but probably Trump thinks his handshake lie is holding. I guess you can a bruised hand from handshaking although he’s the only person I’ve ever heard of it happening to. But you can’t get a port from handshaking.
A port is generally placed in the chest. Nobody but him and the docs ever need to know about it. The whole point is that it isn’t visible from the outside. Unlike a conventional IV stuck in an arm or hand.
Unless he starts running around shirtless for the cameras like Putin used to do.
