What is your Favorite...... Smell?

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately, and there are certain perfumes a girl wears that I can’t get enough of, and some others wear stuff that smells like AEROSOL 100% DEET Bugspray that I cough at. I was wondering what you guys’ and girl’s favorite Cologne, and if you want, what is your favorite scent that is ALSO an aphrodisiac for you?

I leave you with this
-Ad Noctum-

Sandalwood and rose–in college, one of my girlfriends made her own (subtle) rose-sandalwood perfume. Even if it hadn’t left me permanently in lust with her, I would have hung around with her just for the scent.

I favor spicy/musky scents for myself. When I get the time, I’m going to brew up a batch of cologne with a sage base and smell how it works.

My wife wears this stuff that smells like cotton candy. I love it! In fact, I think that’s what it’s called, “Cotton Candy”.
By the way, here is a tip for the ladies: If there is a particular guy hanging around who you don’t like, try any way you can to find out what kind of perfume his mother usually wears…then buy some. No normal guy wants to score with a woman who smells like his mom! I figured this out when my wife bought some Jean Natae (same stuff my ma uses) what a turn off, I made her throw it out!

My favorite men’s cologne, in my admittedly limited experience, is Obsession. If I wore a scent, that would be it. And, though I may be damning myself to the “No Accountin’ for Taste” slot in many people’s minds by saying so, I still think Drakkar Noir smells pretty good, though I never wore it, and it’s played out by now. I really wish I could’ve said something cool like Grey Flannel is my favorite scent, but I’ve never smelled it, so I can’t. At least I didn’t say Brut (which, so you know, I find repulsive).

As for ladies’ scents, of what I’ve noticed, Estee Lauder’s Pleasures is what springs to mind as my favorite.

Glad we could clear the air about this.

farrtss are my favorite as long ias it’s not a horrible thing that kills your horses or grandma.

patchouli.

bay rum

beef roast.

my favorite perfume is BLUE GRASS by Elizabeth Arden.
it is a spicy floral. (it is difficult to describe)

favorite food smell: lasagna
favorite flower: irises

I like bug spray. Nothing wrong with a nice big whiff of Deep Woods Off!.

Oh, and I love the smell of napalm in the morning. Smells like …

My favorite for me is Lauder by Estee Lauder.

My favorite smell for candles is bay berry. My favorite smell in seasons is Fall…the smell of crisp air, burning leaves…and of course the smells of Christmas are wonderful.

I love the smell of peppermint. I wish I could find peppermint body spray…sometimes I’ll dab a little of the essential oil on myself, but it’s way too strong.

I also wish I could smell like tomato plants, that’s one of the best smells in the world.

And I like the way my husband smells (except his feet after they’ve been in boots all day). Its just a natural turn on. Perhaps I should bottle it and sell it to men who are looking to become woman magnets.

I have always loved the slightly salty smell of gasoline as it’s being pumped into a car. Don’t know why, but I do.

This is probably just a plastic smell, but my sister and I used to call it “New Doll.”

I also like an Avon perfume from long ago called “Honeysuckle.”

Oddly enough, I also like the smell of unsmoked tobacco or cigarettes, although I have never been a smoker.

I just love the smeel of fresh coffee ground.

Perfume on women is definitely Obsession.

The only cologne I wear is Grey Flannel.
(Go ahead call me an 80’s geek)

I like girls that smell like candy.

Hm. Haven’t purchased or even investigated colognes in years, so I dunno.

Generally, my favorite smell is vanilla.

Spider Woman, I have always felt that cigarettes smelt of raisins.

Doughnuts.

Most scents depend on how they mix with the person’s own natural scent.
The smell of Old Spice repells me normally, but when my friend wears it, it smells nice, and it’s somewhat comforting.
I love scents like peppermint, rain, freshly brewed coffee, very mild musks, and lighter things. It mostly depends on what it smells like on the person to me. Sometimes just their natural scent is what I crave to smell, sometimes they smell better when they smell kind of like new soap mixed with their own body aroma. MMMMMMM…
