Maybe. I find that almost every woman has at least something positive about her. I recall a former co-worker who no one would describe as attractive - short, dumpy, plain to the point of ugliness, and a bad personality to boot. But she had a smile that could light up a room, on the rare occasions she used it.
I like my men lightly muscled, taller than me (+5’6") and dark-haired, though hair-color is negotiable. And cheekbones. I worship to high, chiseled cheeks. But hands are my kryptonite. Large hands, with long, strong fingers and above-average sized knuckles. I’ve gotten wet from watching guys with especially nice hands take notes in class. It has to do with the way they grip the pen and their concentration and the tight precision of muscle forming the letters and…yeah…
I like 'em slim. Not skinny though. Kind of like a tennis-player build. Especially with lean muscular arms. Mmmm. Height doesn’t matter as long as they are taller than me. (Which isn’t hard.)
I’ve dated guys with a variety of body types, but I was immediately attracted to my current boyfriend because he is my physical ideal. Plus he has an Irish accent.
I definitely have a type. First of all I am primariy attracted to non-‘Caucasians’. Dark hair (the closer to black the better) is essential. And I prefer darker skin.
I like guys to be as tall or a few inches taller than me (I am 5’5"). I don’t like them very much taller, it weird me out.
Weight is also a big thing with me. I like thin guys, but bony is a turn-off. So are big bulky muscles, a belly, or chub.
Oh, and tons of body hair, especially on the torso, is also not my thing… but the average amount is fine.
I don’t think I’ve ever been really attracted to a guy outside these parameters. My BF fits them pretty perfectly.
Depends. Which leg?
Cite?
All I can say to this is-- AMEN. I agree with all your choices here, including the “not bigger than this.” David Beckham and Alexander Skarsgard are damn near perfect. I do not like really bulky men. Over 6 feet tall is a plus, with long, lanky muscles. I also happen to enjoy a more prominent than average nose, though it’s not a requirement. Hair color and eye color are irrelevant, though for some reason I find curly hair on white men a turn off.
I like women like I like my coffee…
Obligatory joke out of the way, male here that is mostly attracted to women shorter than myself (five foot seven) and that are curvy, I guess is the word.
Something like Mosier described if maybe he could provide us with photographic examples.
I like big, tall, handsome men, very masculine. Think Forest Whitaker’s build, though I don’t have a preference in skin colour.
Of course I got married twice to men who were not much taller than I am and who were of average or slight build.
My fantasies are peopled with large, bearlike men though…
The ones that do aren’t like to say so publicly.
Overweight.
Extreme ectomorphs. Like basketball players, but less muscular. Bony. Lanky. Black hair and dark features. Thin, angular nose.
A white version of Kareem Abdul Jabbar, with Adrien Brody’s head.
I like tall, athletic guys with strong facial features. A few months ago my preferred body type was fairly lean and ripped. I still like good muscle definition, but I’m all about the v-shape now. I love a broad upper body tapering to a flat stomach, with muscular quads and calves.
I prefer shorter males with broad shoulders and powerful thighs. Especially when they’re just a bit chubby. I’d prefer more chubby to even slightly skinny any day. I’ll take a taller male, as long as he’s got the “stocky” body type. If you have pulsing veins, anywhere, please do not apply. I really like strong-man competitions because of the body type required to be good at it.
Men: Swimmer’s build, height irrelevant.
Women: The tinier the better, all around.
I like the body type of male gymnasts and capoeira players.
Capoeira clip… The guys in this video then later did another showcase performance… sans shirts… Ah, lovely!
Athletes, basketball players are also OK. Basically, some toned muscle, not too much of it. David Beckham is another fine example… Mmm…
And yea, most of the guys I’ve been with have fit some of that type.
Am I that athletic? Nope, I’m fluffy, busty, curvy (not fat, dammit)… Although I’m probably a bit more fit than other women around me. And until recently, I was definitely overweight (now I’m between overweight/normal).
I REALLY don’t like guy with big muscles, or the other extreme, with belly fat. I don’t like it on myself, why would I like it in a partner? Not to mention, back when I was younger, the ones who teased me most about my looks were in general NOT the fit, athletic boys, but the ones who themselves could stand to lose weight, look more athletic, etc.
So I’m long waisted. I never though there were any guys attracted to that. I don’t really understand what part of that is sexy. How do I play it up?
I LOVE hands, my husband’s hands specifically. They’re large, strong-looking with long fingers and a bit of hair on the back. They’re just delicious. Nice broad shoulders are a close second.
Male, with a pulse.
Wow, I’m exactly your type!
Funny how your preferences can change when you meet someone great. Last night I met someone tall and big-busted and I absolutely flipped. Let’s see if she answers my e-mail.
