Victory!
Yes again.
Corn-quistos
Morton’s cinnamon-sugar donuts
Campbell’s used to make an 8 bean or 9 bean soup with black beans and assorted other beans that was my favorite - it had a great smokey flavor - and it disappeared never to be seen again. I cant even find it on lists of Campbell’s discontinued soups but I * know* it existed.
They used to make Dr. Pepper in a way that was just tasty.
Now they’ve changed it so it makes me fat and gives me diabetes.
Why would they do that?
Most recently, Thomas Bagels briefly made a Corn bagel that was just amazing! It was here for about 4 months, then gone. They were sooooooo good.
Mystic Peach-Vanilla “soda”. Delicious, and never to be found again.
From any manufacturer…Satin string bikini underwear! I used to get it in a multi-pack at Walmart years ago, then they went to cotton only. Recently, Joe Boxer via K-mart had them available again for the first time in years. Luckily, I stocked up and bought about 50 pairs, because they are now gone from the website.
:smack:
Forgot to include Kraft Parmesan-Romano salad dressing…gone gone gone. It was the clone of the sauce that Boston Market used on their also now discontinued Turkey Carver Club sandwich. Loved both the sandwich and the sauce.
Also can’t seem to find Pimp Juice anymore…
And Lime Crush Soda seems to have disappeared as well…
The original Hardee’s Monster Burger.
The new Monster Thickburger crap they have is too dry, too dressed up, and has the condiment proportions all wrong. The closest thing I can find to an old-style Monster Burger is Jack in the Box’s Ultimate Cheeseburger, but Jack puts too much damn pepper in his burgers or something.
+1
Also, Orange Pop-Rocks. Now all they have are these crazy raspberry flavors and crap…
I just thought of something else… The 2nd and 3rd degree burn Doritos! I actually called the company about that one to give 'em an earful!
Yeah, I’ve been trawling ebay All the ones on there are used - there are a few pairs in my size that look to be in good condition, so I’ll probably bid on those, but dammit, I’m an actual grownup. I’m not broke any more. I don’t want to be buying used jeans on ebay. I want to go into a shop and buy a brand-new pair!
Every time I find a bra that keeps ‘the girls’ in the perky position without dragging my shoulders down, it’s discontinued.
Meanwhile, bras that are made for women who have no superstructure, are manufactured for decades.
Berry Blue flavor of Kool-Aid. This stuff was To Die For.
Sunshine Lemon Coolers. I could force down a case of those in one sitting.
Archer Farms has discontinued products on me a couple of times. They used to have this yummy chocolate chunk granola. They have something similar in a granola bar, but the loose granola was so much better. And easier to stir into yogurt. They also made these water enhancer packets that had a sweetener I could tolerate. It’s hard to find water enhancers that won’t trigger one of my migraines.
I’m almost afraid to try any Archer Farms products anymore, because if I like it, it will be gone soon!
Team Flakes,the bastids.
Don’t get your hopes too high on the cookies. The lemon bits are artificially flavored, and not the same. Boo!
I can’t quite remember what they were called but it was a frozen food product, pasta and vegetables (Birdseye I think), that were either cheese or garlic infused. I haven’t seen them in years. Also (though this has been decades) “Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific”.
Supposedly you can still get it if you order it online, but it’s super expensive, and I’ve heard via reviews that it does NOT smell like the real GYHST.
Also their little taco flavored button tator tots. Those dried up home fries lookin’ things UGH! Not even close. I can’t figure out why they’d do that.
Heinz ketchup with chopped onion bits. I love chopped onions, but hate to chop 'em. The Heinz with the onions in it was just perfect. It came out in the mid 80s and was apparently being test-marketed. It disappeared pretty quickly, so I guess it didn’t sell too well.
My three cans of California Scents grapefruit came in the mail today. I put one in the bottom of my kitchen garbage can, one in the alcove in the bathroom where I have one of the kitty litter pans*, and one in the back of my car. A good day. Thanks to those who researched.
I DO remember this product and it was quite good. Dang.
*BTW, the kitty litter called The World’s Best Cat Litter (unscented) is the only litter we’ve ever used that will leave your home smelling completely free of cat pee. The litter itself is made from corn and it smells very clean, like straw or dry grass. Don’t know what the scented varieties smell like. It’s not cheap, but it lasts forever. Just scoop a couple of times a day and you’re good. I have two cats and two litter boxes.
I hear they’re going to stop making that.
Just kidding!
