I think we’ll be waiting for a long time for a good Conan movie. You are absolutely right about The Sword and the Sorcerer. A total Howard ripoff on a cheap budget, with a lead that looked nothing like Conan, and I still loved it. It’s still odd to think he went from playing Archie Goodwin to The Sword and the Sorcerer in a years time. Looks like he had a long career, even in a Tarantino movie, but I never saw him in anything again.
The comic I would like most like to see Disney make into a movie would be titled:
Fred Hembeck Destroys the Marvel Cinematic Universe
I’m torn between wanting Fred to meticulously draw every cel of the animated version, and the live-action one, where the actors that’ve played the characters (eg. Jackman as Wolverine) get CGI’ed into Hembecked versions of their character.
