Mickey Hart’s Supralingua
Morphine - The Night
“The Best Of Os Mutantes”, an avant-garde/psychadelic 60s group from Brazil.
Also “The Rockin’ Vickers - The Complete It’s Alright!”, a 60s garage/beat group from England featuring Lemmy Kilmister of Motorhead on guitar.
Just today, I bought It’s Martini Time by The Reverend Horton Heat. And before that, a couple of weeks ago, I got Stankonia by Outkast. Both are fine albums.
Radiohead - Pablo Honey (about time, as I already had the others)
REM - Automatic for the people
Cocteau twins - Best of (80/90)
Enya - A day without rain
Others that I bought the last few weeks include the new CD’s by U2 and Sade (both excellent).
A bit disappointed in the Enya one - too much like the previous ones. Love the other CD’s that we recently bought.
Okay… just last night I bought:
Nick Drake - Way to Blue
Last CD I bought: Marvelous 3 - ReadySexGo…Not as good as the last album, but they are awesome in concert (saw them last weekend )
Last ones I burned: Tori Amos “Under the Pink” - excellent CD, especially the latter half of it…and Ellis Paul (the new live on, can’t think of the name of it) - also very good.
Become the Media, Jello Biafra’s most recent spoken word CD.
At the same time I bought,
The Ataris - “Blue Skies, Broken Hearts… Next 12 Exits”
Incubus - “Fungus Amongus”
Hoobustank - “They Sure Don’t Make Basketball Shorts Like They Used Too…”
Well, seeing as Napster is my friend and I’m almost always broke, I haven’t bought any new CD’s for ages. The last one I got was Mer de Noms - A Perfect Circle, but that was ages ago.
Kid A, Radiohead. But I’m Giving it to someone for christmas! I want it! damn…
Some guy named Fred near Loring Park in downtown Minneapolis…he was wearing this really cute leather miniskirt and…
OH…
The film score for “First Blood” (the first Rambo movie) by my favorite film composer, Jerry Goldsmith. Sucky movie, great score.
i just ordered:
Guns N’ Roses - Use Your Illusion II
Derek and the Dominos - Layla and other assorted love songs
before that i got the new U2 (a great album!!)
‘Pray for Mojo’ by Mustard Plug. Good, but definitely not their best.
Take 6 (a live album - haven’t gotten it yet).
Nina Simone (because I was able to hear her on Napster and am looking forward to getting it).
Geddy Lee’s new solo project - can’t remember its name but its for my hubby for Xmas.
I’m cheap too, and order from BMG. Only problem is, they don’t carry Lenny Kravitz or Susan Tadeschi and I’m typically too cheap to buy them in a store. Will have to break down and get them.
2 CDs from the “Narada” collection.
Both are compilations of Gypsy/Spanish musics. I have listened to only those CDs for the past 3 weeks straight. My stereo is se to “Shuffle/Repeat All.”
Beatles – Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band
Johnny Mathis Christmas Album
Clancy Brothers & Tommy makem – Come Fill Your Glass With Us: Irish Songs Of Drinking and Blackguarding
