Peanut butter out of the jar. I’m exhausted but I have to teach a class tonight, so I’m going for the direct IV protein.

Cheese sarnie. Specifically, grated Double Gloucester on wholemeal bread.

Cheese, avocado and mayo sandwich.

Snyder’s of Hanover Honey Mustard Pretzel Bits: YUM! (A bag is one serving size, right?)

Dr. Praeger’s California Veggie Burger with some Greek yogurt on top, both from Costco. The “burgers” are really, really good, and made largely of vegetables, not mostly grains. I nuke them for a minute to thaw them, then brown them in a pan for a minute. You can see big pieces of vegetables in them. Of course, they don’t taste anything like a real burger, but they’re good for what they are.

Oh, and coffee.

Dinner: White pasta sauce with spinach, mushrooms, and sausage over rotini pasta. Not bad.

Hamburger Helper. I think it’s Patty Melt-style.

Rice Sides cheesy rice and broccoli.

Not bad. I love the cheesy rice and could do without the broccoli.

I did make and finish a very nice salad based on steamed mackerel, red onion, orange and fennel earlier this evening.
