Whatcha eating - RIGHT NOW?

7-grain bagel

Popcorn shrimp and french fries with a glass of iced tea.

Cheeboogey. And a Dr. Pepper.

30 seconds before opening this, I finished swallowing a bit of cauliflower roasted with olive oil, salt, and both hot and smoked paprikas. Close enough?

Wasabi peanuts alternating with Dubbel zout salty licorice.

A chocolate-chip cookie one of the other grad students brought in for his oral (bribing the committee with food is never a bad idea).

Bacon tomato pasta with some basalmic vinegar glazed zucchini and a pear on the side.

Just finished an egg and smoked sausage on toast with a cup of tea.

“The Dormen” ‘little luxuries’ spicy peanuts. They burn but they’re so good.

I would kill for some salted chocolate.

Turkey and cheese sammich with a Mountain Dew Throwback.

Just put the last forkful of last night’s left over spinach pie in my mouth and am debating whether or not I should eat my baklava before someone else does. I’m surprised both lasted this long.

A slice of wonderful homemade bread that I swapped someone last night for some of my hummus.

Bit and pieces of lasagna that were left in my real teeth after I took out my dental appliance.

Chocolate rice pudding.

Bought some lovely fat halibut filet at Costco today. I put a bound breading on it and fried it and am eating it (or actually just ate it - wouldn’t want to get the keyboard all fishy) with homemade tartar sauce and lemon wedges. Yummers.

Playing with the sous vide -

inch thick boneless cut pork chops slit in half and thin slices of apples, with black pepper, cinnamon and thyme on a bed of shredded red cabbage blaukraut style tossed in at 145 degrees for 5 hours, piece of sourdough bread with butter, cranberry drink made with knudsens pure cranberry juice, splenda, water and lots of ice. I have to admit i saved all my protein for the day for tonight because the pork chop was phenomenal!

Pickled okra.

A good ol’ Chicago-style beef and sausage combo, with cheese and hot peppers.

The standard is mozzarella, but I ordered cheddar. I think mozzarella is a bit bland for the sandwich.

And “hot peppers” in Chicago means hot giardiniera, which IMO is one of the few perfect foods.

Working on my second of two Hostess chocolate Donettes. I could be eating Orange Essence prunes, they’re right here, and a lot healthier. Don’t taste as good, though!:stuck_out_tongue:

Cold leftover pizza. Specifically, Spicy Perogy pizza from Boston Pizza.
