"What's a normal sleep cycle?" Don't ask the MMP!

Mom,
Please take pictures for us when the package arrives.
As quickly as you can.

I indeed had a martini(but not 3)

I’m not as think as you dunk I am, Occifer!:stuck_out_tongue:

So Lenny the Squidgoat spawned again?

Apprently Ketel One makes a vodka with botanicals in it.:dubious::dubious::dubious:

OOO! I could use one for my martini, and put the FairyChatMonster on the other one(yeah, still have it, and the tiny mugs.)

As I recall, Kopek used to like to play with explosives. :dubious:

Hey y’all!

Read but not sure how much I retained. We went to the dog park this afternoon after chores and studio stuff were done. Now, I’ll finish what I began.

Stay safe and healthy y’all!

Evening all. Mail has been collected and bill prepared for mailing tomorrow. FCM, I have Texas Roadhouse penciled in for dinner tomorrow, if it’s not to insane a crowd.

OW, you do know how to play a crowd; will wait for the [del]screams[/del] (del]booms[/del] ummm, reveal sometime next week…

nellie, I don’t believe I have ever drank a martini in my life…never been a fan of hard alcohol. But drink away if that’s your thing.

Ok, that’s all for the evening, all y’all take care.

Some bare spots on Walmart’s shelves, such as disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer (of course), but they did have some Lysol. My stock is decent for now, so I skipped getting more this time. I might have the squirrel compulsion pretty close to under control, at least until we see the next level of Jumanji 2020.

So Wed., we got 2.26" of rain. Thursday, I had a Medical Mafia day, with the first haircut since there was snow on the ground.

Disaster struck, however, when I went to the Hot Dog place.

They had a gravel driveway, and just as I got to the concrete pad in front of the building, I found the slippery spot. My thought, as the horizon started moving, was TIMBER!!

Now, after 3 TIA’s, the right side is government surplus, and that is where I bounced. Another landing point was my lips. They are returning to normal size, with a few added colors. The right side is very tender, nothing broken, but my arm objects to going away from my side. Getting dressed has been a no go, shifting the car will be interesting, to say the least, so Friday’s dialysis got canceled. They were not happy, but 4 hours in the chair with the arm where it will not go was not happening.

Starting to feel better, I hope to have a second arm working Monday. Having one working arm sucks!

The embarrassing part was the restaurant staff has to bring out a step stool so I could get up–wasn’t going to happen on my own…

And a 3 pounder Napoleon.

Ouch! I hope that you’re less sore soonest.

I got a birthday card from my sister. My nephew, who I think turns 21 in a couple of weeks, said he’s ‘female inside’ and bought a dress. He wants to start hormone treatments. My sister says her motto is ‘Different stroke for different folks.’ She said she believes it, and now will have to live it. Her ‘husband’ is confused about it. Actually, the news doesn’t surprise me at all.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 66 Amurrkin out and N.O.S. with a predicted high of 90 and N.O.S. for the day. We shall deheathenate via teh intartoobz this mornin’. We shall N.O.L. upon poke roast, field peas with snaps, rice 'n gravy, hominy casserole, cornbread, and peach cobbler. The poke roast is in the slow cooker as I post. Perhaps some quality cee-mint pond time will be in store this afternoon.

Alien YIKES! Hope you’re feelin’ better soonest.

FlyBoy glad your nephew’s ‘rents seem to be acceptin’ of this.

Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then, onward into the day! Rah.

Happy Sunday Y’all!

Another glorious cool morning and a day in the mid 70s. Not sure what the day will bring, other than Roxy going to see her other grandmother. I might mow the ditches, or I’ll do it tomorrow. It’s too early to decide.

Happy Sunday!!

Happy Sunday!

It’s friggin’ cold outside, overcast and breezy. I left the park early because I couldn’t stand it anymore, my teeth were starting to chatter.
I was there for two hours and Echo got a good romp with her friends, she went upstairs to bed as soon as we got home. Ripple just hung back and watched the action. He acts like an old man sometimes.

I was going to irk in the yard today, but we had rain overnight and it’s wet and icky out there.

I have enough to do inside the house to keep me busy.

Johnny, I’m glad that your sister and her husband are cool with their child’s gender.

Up, caffeinating, breakfasted and will do KP in a bit. Today will be Sunday chores, tidying up the studio and making Flamenco aigs for supper.

Stay safe and healthy y’all!

Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Gordie’s new thing is going down stairs(but not up):dubious:

Alie, EEK! hope you feel better.

Morning all. Sudokus are being worked and I need to make myself presentable here shortly and go forth to the Texas Roadhouse. The weather for next week is 85F or higher during the day and not a chance of rain, so sometime next week the sprinklers will be deployed.

Alien, OUCH!!! Not sure how old you are (67 here), but falling is not fun for anybody. Hope you get to feeling better.

Sari, would be glad to loan you about 10F of our heat here.

flyboy, not an easy decision for the nephew, or his parents. Hope they all get some counseling to help them work through it.

Everybody have a pleasant Sunday.

Real life? Whats that? Should I get one?
Nah.

We may, or may not, be packing up and heading back to the big house today. We should, 'cause Sonday is the day we normally put the big garbage cans out for early Monday morning pickup, and we have a passel of garbage we’re taking back with us. (double bagged).

Other than that, nothings shaking.

Happy Sonday, y’all.

Afternoon. A large dinner has been consumed, bananas have been purchased, and the internet bill is in the mail, so except for doing a couple loads of laundry my missions are complete for the day. Except for staff, nobody at the Texas Roadhouse was wearing a mask (obviously you can’t wear it to eat, but getting in and out…) and Kroger it looked like 70% coverage. We haven’t had many cases here, (523 and 5 deaths in a country of about 400,000), just hope people’s optimism isn’t misplaced…

Bumba, real life is overestimated, IMHO.

**FCD **and I drove down to the Leonardtown Wharf to walk around a bit. The pics on the link don’t include the playground and picnic area where we sat a little while. I was sorta surprised how crowded it was, but considering the lovely day and how tired folks are of staying home, I guess it made sense that lots of folks headed there.

On the way back, traffic was stopped along 5, and a fire truck came thru, so I’m guessing it was an accident. We were able to turn around and take a long alternate route home. We did drive up to the new Leonardtown library - turns out the senior center is there, too! Dunno when it’ll open, but now I know.

Now we’re home in chillage mode. I think I’ll pull some chicken out of the freezer for supper.

Today was supposed to be Launder Thy Linens Day, but the washer is dead.I checked the circuits, so it’s not that. Perhaps it’s just pinin’ for the fjords. I put in a service request and will also call so I can find out when they might arrive. I prefer to be here, and I prefer not to be in the shower.

Both my kids call on Sundays, so I have that to look forward to. Maybe someday I’ll actually be able to see them in person. They both live in state, but one is at higher risk, and the other is five hours away. I’d also like to hug them.
Sigh Remember hugs? OK, some of you get 'em every day. Moooom even gets Roxy hugs. I do get to give scritchels to the dogs in the dog park, so that’s something.

Speaking of which, Sari, two hours at the dog park is “leaving early”? What lucky pups you have! (Of course, they’re lucky anyway because you take such loving care of them.) Sorry it was so cold. What’s up with your weather?

flyboy, wishing your nephew/niece a smooth transition and much happiness. Kudos to your sister for her attitude. I think her husband’s confusion is pretty common. I was married to a cross-dresser, and I was sure confused when he came out after many years of marriage. You can be very open-minded and still find such revelations complex and confusing in ways you can’t imagine if you haven’t been there. It took awhile to adjust. Anyway, best of luck to all.

Alien, dang, that must’ve hurt! I hope you’re recovering.

Moooom, mowing ditches is not my cup o’ tea, and I like mowing. Back on the range, I only mowed when it was too windy to burn, which was most of the time. Or are your ditches nice, green, grassy ones?
