Titanic. I think I saw it three times with three different women.
Before that, probably the original Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back.

Ex Machina. It was amazing
Probably Buckaroo Banzai.
Chappie. I went to see it. Got home told The Fella, “Guess what? We’re going to the movies!” And we saw it again. I know it didn’t get great reviews, but I loved it (he did too).
Before that (in the theater, not on video, etc.) The Rocketeer. I have a thing for Timothy Dalton and I won’t be ashamed of it.
Before that? Honestly, the original Star Wars. My dad took me to it. Our minds were blown. I watched it every weekend for at least a year actually at the movies. (I think that my folks just used it as baby sitting.)
Dredd. I’m probably responsible for half its gross.
I think I’ve done this only once in my life, and the film was District 9. I first saw it by myself and loved it. Then I eventually got a date to see it with me while it was still in theaters.
Pulp Fiction.
Twice in all, the more recent being Star Wars (Episode Four the second time around). The other was Jaws.
Either Titanic, As Good As It Gets, or Good Will Hunting because they were all playing at the same time and I was working in a cinema to help pay for college.
IMAX and 3D both times. Blew my mind. Simple “in distress!!!” plotline, so amazingly well executed.
Trainspotting - I saw it at a preview before the wider release, and once again after that happened.
Pulp Fiction - twice in one day! A bunch of us saw a teatime screening, and then retired to the pub, where basically all we were talking about was trying to sort the film into chronological order. After a few pints we all went back and saw a late night screening.
Star Wars/Empire/Jedi - eh, quite a few times for all three when they came out.
That’s it I think.
Inside Out
Before that Ex Machina.
It’s been a long, long time since I saw a movie more than once in the theater (not counting seeing movies in a theater then again on DVD at home). I think the mast one might well have been Monty Python and the Holy Grail. I’m sure I saw that at least three times in the theater, and many since on DVD.
One of no doubt several previous threads. Albeit without the “last” qualifier.
It’s not something I do very often. I think the last time I saw a movie twice in the theatre was Skyfall (once with my wife, once while visiting my parents), but I’m not sure.
The most recent one I’m sure of is Drunken Master II; I saw it with subtitles in 1994 and then I saw it again when the dubbed version (The Legend of Drunken Master) was released in North America.
I don’t think I’ve ever done that.
I do it all the time, though I don’t always get a chance when there are so many good movies to see. The most recent ones I saw more than twice were Fury Road (4 times) and What We Do In The Shadows (5 times).
It’s been over thirty year. In March of 1983 I won a local contest that our newspaper ran, about picking Oscar winners. The prize was a pass to all the theaters in town, for a year. So for the rest of 1983 and early 1984 I saw quite a number of movies, several times. My favorites were Mother Lode, the Sword and the Sorceror, and Chariots of Firs.
Is that the one that starred Chris Pine?
“Brother Can You Spare a Dime” the first time when it came out. I was fascinated by the era. The second time decades later for a class or something.
