What's your favorite brand of potato chips?

Personally, I’m not a huge fan of potato chips. Yet, here I sit snacking away like a fiend on a bag of Tim’s Cascade Style “Original” Potato Chips. Damn, these are addicting! What’s your favorite chip?

I enjoy Lays.

Something about a handful of grease is enjoyable but so tasty.

I’ve always been a big fan of kettle chips, and I especially love the Hawaiian brand. Maui onion is delicious!

Terra Chips Original assortment and Terra sweet potato

oh frell, now i’m hungry for them and there’s a grocery store 2 minutes away, time to hop in the car and brave the -5F weather (-15 with wind chill), it’s a little on the crisp side…

Oh, yes. Maui Sweet Onion is soooo good!

Right now I’m chowing on some Poore Brothers Jalapeno Potato Chips. Mmmmm, it’s like a party in my mouth.
They’re my favorite when they’re on sale for 88 cents for a 5.5 oz bag.

I cannot stand Poore brothers.

Their chips are all twisted into weird shapes that make them hard to chew for me.

That and most of the flavors don’t appeal to me. I find it hard to like “Garlic and Parmesan” flavored chips.

Cape Cod reduced fat chips. Very good for a lower fat chip. Also Terra. For the full monty, I like Tim’s Cascade. Hate any and all flavored chips except for BBQ.

Utz. I’ve lived in the Baltimore area all my life, so I don’t really know how far they spread into the rest of the country, but there’s nothing quite like fresh, crispy Utz chips.

Tim’s Cascade Style Jalapeno Chips. Or maybe the Pickle Flavor.

I love Zapp’s potato chips, which I would always stock up on in New Orleans. They are thick, crunchy kettle chips from the city that invented them, and come in great flavors like jalapeno, Cajun, honey mustard, and I vaguely remember “crawdad”! I wish I could find Zapp’s chips in Orlando.

For non-potato chips, I’m a sucker for all kinds of Doritos (especially Cool Ranch), and Spicy Cheez Doodles. Mmmm, orange fingertips…

Humpty Dumpty BBQ. As far as I know they’re only available here in Atlantic Canada.

Not far enough, damn it. Utz are the best I’ve ever had. Can’t get 'em in Missouri -they don’t even make it to, much less west of, the PA stat line: http://www.utzsnacks.com/map.shtml

Humpty Dumpty?! Ugh. Those are my LEAST favorite kind.

Old Dutch ketchup flavored. I think those are a western Canada thing. Although you CAN find them here, if you look hard enough.

Sterzings
So greasy…so good…mmmmm.

I think you can order them online-if not there are a few dopers like me within 15 minutes of the main plant who could ship whatever you’re hankerin’ for.

Utz or Lays. I’m more of a simple eater, because my favorite flavor is plain. Second favorite would probably be sour cream & onion.

Yeah! Cape Cod Reduced Fat. My favorite plain chips ever.

For flavored, I really dig their full-fat Natucket Spice flavor.

Or Nantucket Spice, even.

Snyder’s Kettle Cooked chips are the best to eat plain but if I want dip, I buy Ruffles.
