The company put on a Thanksgiving Dinner Preview (turkey and all the trimmins). I chowed. I had two slices or turket, peas, corn, squash, and a roll (I skipped the mashed taters and stuffing - neither of 'em looked that good, and they both just make me too full).

I had “the usual”: Wrap with lettuce, fat-free Catalina dressing, some shredded cheese, pickles, and bacon bits. I also had a tiny cookie and a can of Diet Dr. Pepper.
I had brought in half of a ham sandwich (two slices of bread is just too much food) but the company had a lunch/training program today. One free slice of veggie pizza with a coffee chaser.

The second half of my lunch yesterday: a Chicago Southsider sub from Safeway. Roast Beef, horseradish cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onions, and horseradish dressing. Good shit…
Hot Tamales. No, not the cornhusk-wrapped dumplings of meat and masa. The candy.
Turkey (the less-attractive smoked coldcut style) sandwhich on multigrain. Green tea with ginger and honey.
Later, liquid vitamins.
Still later, chocolate.
I went to my local high-end market, which has a nice deli. I had them make me my usual salad, which is lettuce, grilled chicken, garlic, parmesan cheese, olive oil, and carmelized hazelnuts. Had that with a roll, a Coke Zero, and there is a cookie sitting on my desk for later. Yum!

Today I had a salad, the remains of a ton of salad I brought home from a wedding at our firehouse hall Saturday night. We rent our hall out, and take turns working at events. Sometimes we get to bring home leftovers.
I’ve had salad every day since. I put it all in Ziploc bags and squeezed all the air out. It’s juuust starting to get a little wilted looking.
Romaine and Boston bibb lettuce, red onions, broccoli, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, black olives and croutons. I added pepper parmesan dressing.
Steamed broccoli, some baby carrots, a flour tortilla and a Diet Pepsi. And I’ll probably chew on a piece of gum later.
Yoghurt and a banana.
I’m starving.
Departmental Meeting provided pizza so I caved and had one small slice of cheese and one small slice of veggie. Later some black grapes.
A boring bologna and cheese sandwich from home, plus an apple.
To console myself for this lunch, I later snacked on Lindt milk chocolate filled with pistachio and almond cream.
Last night’s dinner was **curried goat with rice and peas ** from the Jamaican takeout joint on Flatbush Ave.
Today’s lunch was leftover curried goat with rice and peas straight out of the takeout container straight out of the fridge. And a bottle of Samuel Smith Taddy Porter.
