Some toast and some Twinings. I’m sick today. Oddly enough, toast and tea is more than I’d eat for lunch if I’d gone to school today, so I’m guessing that that is some sort of bonus. But I still have to read a stack of Seneca, so maybe not.
A 9.87-oz. can of Milos (grape) Vine Leaves stuffed with rice (from World Market $2.49), an 8-oz. cup of Crowley yogurt with pineapple (mixed in, not on the bottom) (Piggly-Wiggly $0.50), 2 Archway oatmeal raisin cookes (Pig-Wig $0.40), and a big cup of apple juice (P-W $0.50).
Bacon cheez burger, no fries, but apple pie afterward. (I rarely indulge in apple pie.) Diet Coke with lemon.
Whoa, whoa, anything in there besides rice?
A can of tuna and a dollop of spicy mayo with high fiber crackers (7 grams per piece and I have 2-ish) plus a third of a pound of roasted Brussels sprouts. And I just finally had time to finish off the apple I brought.
I don’t go to the company restaurant often, but I did today: Caesar salad (w/anchovies!), jasmine rice, pork loin with apple gravy, a sugar cookie, and a Diet Root Beer.
My lunch was a roast beef sub with lettuce, tomato, green peppers and Provolone cheese. And water to drink.
Happi House Chicken Salad and a Coke Zero.
WTF is this “Democrats Suck” ad in my thread?
dammit.
Been there all day, right after I post it’s “Solar Cooking”.
Moses and Aaron on a stick.
Jambalaya and an iced tea from Bourbon & Toulouse.
Hope this helps change the ads, BTW…

Dang it!
Good Gad!
I had 2 tlacoyos filled with requeson, refried beans with salsa de molcajete. And a Negra Modelo beer.
Coffee
Yeah, and I’m normally not a candy eater at all. But today I had to work through lunch and one of my co-workers saw me draggin’ and gave me a box of Hot Tamales. They sustained me for an hour, but man did I feel sick.
Mixed bean salad with home-made coleslaw, followed by some kiwi fruit. Several cups of tea as well, because I can. And I will. I’ve some catching up to do.
A pincho which was a sandwich of Spanish ham on pamtomaca (pà amb tomàquet, bread with tomato). The bread was a bun of romano about the size of a spread hand… uhm… of a truck driver’s spread hand, I have tiny hands.
1.50€
And a soda from the machine (0.40€ and 33cc). A soda from the tapas bar would be 20cc and 1.60€ - no way José!
Today will be turkey meat loaf and shredded brussels sprouts with balsamic vinegar and black walnuts. Both homemade. And a Diet Mt. Dew. Which is not homemade.
Susan
Dunno yet. We must first find out who all is going. This narrows the possibilities. Once that is decided, I’ll pick from the menu.
