A … what now?
Buffalo mac n cheese with diced celery and blue cheese crumbles.
Currently, as noted over here, it’s Italian mortadella sandwiches on well-buttered bread with Dijon mustard, Sweet Baby Butter Leaf lettuce (a hybrid of iceberg and Romaine), and mayo. Red onion, tomato, and Swiss cheese are optional.
Also Black Forest ham sandwiches with Dijon mustard, Swiss cheese, red onion, and the same Baby Butter Leaf lettuce and mayo.
Also a toasted BLT once in a while, or a toasted fried egg sandwich with bacon and tomato.
Did I mention that I love sandwiches?
Leftovers from the previous night’s dinner!!
My gf usually makes just enough for dinner, or a huge amount that goes into the freezer. I will go out of my way to have a lunch portion leftover.
I know some people do not like leftovers, and I don’t get it. The food was delicious last night. Some dishes are even better the next day.
On very, VERY rare occasions I get a lobster roll from the place a block away. Specifically, a Connecticut roll which is just warm lobster with butter. That and fries is about $30. So it pretty much has to be a special occasion. Last time was when trump was found guilty in his fraud trial.
