When is the next SD book coming out?

I, like a good little doper, was rereading one of Cecil’s books this evening in an attempt to put off studying.

I noticed that, in the second-last book (published in 1998) Ed Zotti promised us readers a book every two years from then on. We got another one in 1999, but we’ve had nothing since then.

So, when are we getting our next book? And why did Mr. Zotti get our poor, desperate hopes up?
(note: I had trouble deciding where to place this thread, and therefore asked Coldfire. If this is the wrong place, blame him! ;))

We’ve been over this before. The last book didn’t sell too well, so the Powers that Be are reluctant to put out a new one until they’ve offloaded the backlog of old ones. There’s an obvious solution to this problem, of course.

Interestingly enough Marilyn Vos Savant had her last book come out a long time ago and has not had a new one since…

I wonder if they are the same person :slight_smile:

Or maybe it is just easier to read the back columns on the internet for free.

Of course the (other) great thing about reading the back columns on the Internet is that it looks exactly like work.
