Envy me, proletariat! I had the most expensive dessert, evah!
It was three $100,000’s.
I thought I had a good topic to start us off tomorrow, but the forecast is waaay too windy to get up early enough to start it.

Cleaning happened and beast stew was good. Still more cleaning for tomorrow for me as hubs intends to labor. Hurricane Irma can turn north anytime now.
Just ordered some disposable kitty litter boxes and a cat playpen in the event we have to evacuate with a screaming cat. I plan to try to see the vet tomorrow for kitty drugs. Our Navy mandated spot is Orlando which is an 8 hour drive. I will be nuts within one hour listening to that. Please curve out to sea Irma.
The Labor Day party was fun. Nelson has tried to lick all of the big dogs’ scent off me since I got home.
Maybe Irma will curve out to see. : crosses fingers :

Funny, I’m in Sacramento and seeing gas prices moving briskly upward.

I did say “supposedly” for that reason. I have no idea if the gas companies are taking advantage of something that has no direct effect on our prices as it’s an entirely separate supply and production system and hoping we don’t notice, or if it’s just the usual holiday weekend price gouge.
Had my “title daddy” over for dinner today. BBQ spare ribs were the beast du jour. You can definitely tell summer is over as the corn was a bit woody and the watermelon was just meh.
Looking forward to Wednesday. After being baked alive at 115 yesterday and Friday, the forecast high on Weds is 75.
