When you get home from work, you slip into...

I get out of my work clothes right away. Not that I have to dress up for work - I just don’t want to keep wearing them.

I put on a cozy pair of pyjama bottoms and a flannel shirt, at least in the fall, winter, and early spring.

In the summer, it’s boxers and a t-shirt.

Always keep the socks on, though. I can’t stand walking around barefoot. And slippers make my feet sweat.

And you?

jogging pants and a sweatshirt/tshirt

… a coma.

A Utilikilt; although I’ve recently started wearing them to work, so it’s become a bit unnecessary to change when I get home.

Mmmmmm…kilts.

In summer, boxers and a light t-shirt, and sandals.
In winter, what cherry does, with socks added.
With in-between weather, it’s usually a combination of the two…

A martini?

My wife?

Seriously, I have a pair of light, gray, cotton pajama bottoms that feel like you’re almost wearing nothing. They’re on before I do anything. I might start taking them in the car so I can change on the way home.

…my birthday suit.

Can’t stand to wear clothes while in the house. As soon as I get the window shades go down and the clothes come off.

When I get home from work, I slip into The Lord Newry, a bonza pub, although the guv’ner is an Irishman with a taste for the turps. Makes for some very interesting orders sometimes!!

After I’ve finished a round or two there, THEN I slip into my trackie-dacks and a sweatshirt.

Shorts and my running shoes. First thing when the wife and I get home, we both do our daily run, then shower. After that, I’m usually in boxers and t-shirt. In the summer, she may just toss on a large nightshirt, in the winter, it’s flannal PJ’s. I like the house cooler than she does.

Typically, after I get off work, I go work out, and I’m home by 2:00 in the afternoon. I then take my “wake up” shower, and then lounge around buck neked until I have to actually go out.

Ahhh…the joys of living alone.

Flannel PJ pants (either with duckies or cowboys on them) and my comfy old, Old navy sweatshirt.

Also, my hair goes up in a pony tail as soon as I put the comfy clothes on, and I also shed the shoes and socks, and put on Nike flip-flops.

If I’m going out again, I don’t change unless it’s to change to go out. Otherwise it’s drawstring pj bottoms and a t-shirt, or my favorite sweatshirt, or my yoga pants. Gotta have socks. It’s really kind of silly since I wear jeans to work almost every day, but I’m just used to changing into something more comfy when I get home.

What’s with all the pajamas?

I just trade out the work slacks for some blue jeans, and the work shoes for Land’s End sheepskin slippers. Unless I’m going out to train, which case I add a soccer cup and my contact lenses. In winter I also add thermal underwear and a couple sweatshirts.

my undies.

A ratty pair of gym shorts. If it is very cold, I’ll slip a t shirt on as well.

Dep[ending on the season, I change out of my suit to a sports jacket, and casual tie. later, I will exchange for a smoking jacket and velvet slippers. If the weather is exceptionally warm, i may change to shorts and a polo shirt (if cocktails are to be served on the veradah). Formal dinners call for a light tuxedo jacket and bowtie.
Yes Muffy, we do things right here!

Nekkid Muffin.

A pair of old tracky dacks and a t-shirt. No shoes; I hate wearing footwear in the house.

If it’s hot (ie, the other 9 months of the year) I’m usually down to my underwear. Like now.

Mmmm, utilikilts… /drools

Oh, what was the question… oh, yes…

I usually get distracted so I forget to change for a few hours. Then it’s either into the gym cloths and to the gym, or into flannel pj bottoms or boxers, depending on temp, with either a little t-shirt, or long sleeve shirt, again, depending on temperature.

I never used to change when I got home, since graduate student is a job one can do while dressed fairly comfortably. Then I bought the best pajamas in the world. Flannel bottoms, soft fleece top. I wear them every minute I can now, including all day Saturday and Sunday if I don’t plan on going out. I even bought an extra pair to store at my boyfriend’s apartment so that the one night a week that I’m there, I don’t have to go without them. I love these pajamas. At home during the winter I also usually put on my LL Bean fleece bathrobe and matching slippers. Toasty warm is my favorite way to be.
