Does anyone know where I can get some FREE web space? I collect pics of all kinds and from time to time I would like to post a link to one of them. I don’t even want to make a homepage or anything. Just a Meg or two of FREE space that I can up load a file to.
Did I mention that it has to be FREE?

All free. You should also be able to go through your ISP and get something. But the other ones are less traceable to personal info and did I mention they’re free?
Do you have an ftp program? If not, I can point you in the direction of some free ones. You know, to go with the free web space. And I won’t even charge you for the info.

Take a look at www.1and1.com. I don’t have any personal knowledge about it, and I can’t figure out how they can make money with no ads, and 3 years of free web hosting, but…
Try Photoisland…it’s free and it allows you to upload 10 megs(under THAT specific name…you can have as many names as you like)
It has a free easy to use uploader right on the site available to download
No pop ups that I can tell…I’m not affiliated with this place…I just use it often myself and have never had a problem with it
I should mention this is just for pictures…it is not a a free web site hosting service

First of all, never post your photos on a free website without reading the TOS first. Check this from Photoisland’s TOS:
“E. Sharing Your Images
By choosing to share your images in the Public Gallery you permit other PhotoIsland users to use such images and grant PhotoIsland a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute and display throughout the world those images for any purpose, including, but not limited to, marketing and advertising.”

Thanks for the tip, Handy. I mostly wanted it to post pics that I have downloaded, like Jimi above. I’ll be careful about personal pics. I must admit, I didn’t see that.
